How do you know that you don't have a submandibular fossa that you can perforate out to on the lingual?
Based on the analysis of the CBCT
In the old days it would be reasonable (within the standard of care) to place an implant without a CBCT if you flapped everything really well (which is the other way to rule out the submandibular fossa) but today if you aren't using a CBCT you are outside of the standard of care and it anything goes wrong you are screwed
How can you make sure that the drilling is straight into the jaw bone and not tilted?

Im not a dentist but i could have been, but to answer your question you start out with smaller drill first, then you put a messuring pin down take xray, if you are not straight, you go with a bigger drill bit that that only 1 size up, xray again to see if you are straight, if not straight again go with 1size up drill again, exray again, by the 3rd times you should be straight now.

why tapered implant when there is enough broad implant space?

I used a tapered implant system because the Hahn implant system was designed with a taper across all diameters. This allows for excellent primary stability in any classification of bone.~ Dr. Abai

Patients typically must wait a minimum of 4 months before being evaluated to load the implant.
there are differing schools of thought on this issue. In the past, 6 months was the answer. But today we have better research indicating that on the mandible you can load it as early as 3 months out and on the maxilla as early as 4 months. However if the insertion torque was lower than 30 N/cm2, 6 months is what you need to do.

Excellent video, as usual. What is your opinion on the use of surgical guides for implant placement? I am considering incorporating implant placement into my general dental practice, and I feel that guided surgery would provide predictable results - at least for my first couple cases.
johnpersson5 Surgical guides provide more control for implant placement,net especially in anterior aesthetic cases and in premolar region also, to maintain proper space from mental foramen. If you have surgical guides, you only need to control the depth/height of the implant and rest is taken care of by the surgical guide. Hope that helps, Thankyou
@@jstfrfunnnd1909 Even the depth/height is taken care of nowadays as well. They make the burs with a type of washer around it so that it hits the guide once you get to the desired pre-set depth, so everything is just one shot, in and done.

@@leleysharawlins4249 well I was awake when they did two . It was pretty uncomfortable I felt the pressure from the screwing my gums they did this about three times than after my surgery I felt the pain afterwards. The only thing you would feel is the Screwing the gums it hurts only because it feels like thier stabbing your brain . But you will get through the process sucks . But worth it at the end I still have my bottom tooth to do and I’m dredging that day .
Yeah I can't be awake during these tings unfortunately. After the procedure was it painful at all
