- When a talk show host wants to be as famous as Johnny Carson, he'll do almost anything to get there and have the most talked about episode in television history. In 1977 and on the final episode of Night Owls, Jack Delroy invited a young girl who is supposedly possessed by a demon onto his stage to bring in ratings and it ended in tragedy. Is this horror film worth the ratings or should it have been cancelled? Time to find out.

Agreed on the lack of cohesion. Pretty much the only thing I'll fault it for, though. I'm definitely watching this again, come October.

They Really Sold Me With The Look & Feel Of A 70's Talk Show
The Only Thing That Took Me Out Was The CGI Effects In Particular With The Little Girl
Yeah I've Seen Worse Effects
But It Just Felt Like A Letdown (To Me) After They Did So Great With Everything Else
It's A Solid 4 Out Of 5 Stars For Me
I didn't think the CGI was that bad. It was the ending that lost me. Overall, a great movie.
Watched the movie liked it but hope the movie had more to it like his backstory and the length of the film. It was a unique style of film and hope they make another.
A bit more backstory would have been nice, but this was still great. I doubt they'll make a sequel though, considering the ending.

I thought the movie was pretty good, David Dastmalchian was great as Jack Delroy, loved Ian Bliss as Carmichael Haig, the former magician turned skeptic and thought the child actress who played Lilly D'Abo was good. Overall, the film was good, not great like everyone else is saying.
I think the skeptic was my favorite character.
