Same. Kabalite warriors really needed that -1AP everyone seems to get or SOMETHING and some stratagem damage support (like you can make an ok-but-nothing-special Eldar guardians into blenders).
I've ran a list with Corsair voidreavers and voidscarred for doom (can effect anrathre units), modeled all as kabalites. It actually shr3dded. You should give it a shot
No, you can't put the same score of 7 for reaver and beasts/beast master..... beasts/beastmaster is a waste of points, i'm not a great fan of reaver but hear me out.... i prefer an outrider detachment with 3 units of 3 reavers +1heatlance at 70 pts than 3 units of 5 wyches +1 power sword at 65 pts, you'll give 2 random drugs since they can do everything and with a bit of luck if you gain +1BS +1S they became a top tier unit (the outrider detachment also include 3 units of 7 hellions).
well initial 6++ with 5+++ is mathematically more or less the same than a simple 3+ armor save against most things when factoring in their high toughness (esp. with +1T buff). And it only gets better either in higher rounds with 5++ or even the new Army of renown 4+++
Its about point cost not save. And i remeber times when 2000p worth of Imperial knights took down only 6 grotesques, ofc those times are gone but grotesques remain okay unit.

Why was Asdrubael Vect removed? Every faction gets super strong HQ characters and there are even playable Primarchs now, but the big, named Dark Eldar character vanishes from the codex? That is disgusting.
Vect was removed 10 years ago (as was Lady Malys, Duke Sliscus, Baron Sathonyx, Kerundakah, etc) ... But yeah, it's fucking ridiculous. Hopefully we'll see him in 10th..
Not sure I agree with all the ratings but its nice to see others opinions! After all doesnt matter entirely how good or bad a unit is, just that it fits into your plans.

I miss the Warp Beast Packs. Amazing models and the pack of 5 used to move 6", fleet of foot D6", then charge 12" and get 20 S4 attacks. The Beastmaster could be customized with any wargear, for example a power weapon and combat drugs. Even with no upgrades for 75 points the squad was great for attacking a 10 man guard squad or 5-man marine squad.
I feel like Kabalites are rated way too high. The damage ouput of Splinter Rifles is close to 0 compared to other infantry units in the same ballpark of points (they are insanely inferior to a 9ppm Guardian Defender, for example, who really isn't anything to write home about either, and basically a joke compared to anything T'au/Nids can bring in the Troops slot). Their only reason to exist is a unit size of 5 and to spam Blasters with a re-roll. 0 Toughness, pathetic main gun, close to no stratagem support, very little in terms of useful Auras... Kabalites haven't aged well with the latest releases, and I wager if the release shedule hadn't been disrupted by Covid, the Drukhari would've never become the boogeyman they were for a while. Edit: I'm also fairly certain Drazhar doesn't get extra damage on 6's, only regular Incubi do.
Yeah other than the moronic reading of that succubus wt and the initial dark technomancer wrack spam drukari weren't that bad. Other factions were just slow to get updated. So rather than make other codexes balanced like drukari they just nerfed or made certain units and playstyles awkward to field. Dt and now Talos and Cronos to name a few.
How can you consider a 9ppm eldar guardian being so much better? They cost more, 1 less atk no invuln and you must get 10 of that garbage…without hail of doom the shooting is as bad, Heavy weapons are overcosted so much, and the other only troop choice are rangers. In general every type of eldar race troop is trash except harlequin’s troupe. We can maybe compare to orks boyz but a space marine is already better and a tir warrior is just insane.

Awesome video! It has been alot of spacemarine focused content since armor of content released and ive been missing some drukhari action ~ whats your personal favorite unit in the drukharilist? If were not going purely on effectiveness in game? Id like to see gw expand some on the kabal options. I really feel taking alot of kabalite warriors really isnt worth the hazzle atm. Right now i only use 1 unit of trueborn in a raider which to be fair does alot of work for me. However, as a relativly new player i feel like racks just does the kabalite warriors job better and are easier to use.
Best units in drukhari army: on a cult side Succubus with precision blows and triptych whip (best cult for me is precise killers and I use also the art of pain because i always feel that i need the power from pain buff above especially the +1 ws) I love Hellions they are fast and hit hard and have damage 2.... I use 3 units of 7 models Even though they are over cost you need some units of 5 wyches (with one power sword) Incubi and Drazhar as warlord..... with armour of contempt that -3 ap is a must on a cabal side Archon is not bad but unreliable, I include 2 ravager in almost every of my list.... they kill one dreadnought in one turn and they force the other player to move carefully. Slith and urghoul are not bad but they don't benefits from blade artists so they have little to none AP against AoC On a coven side (if I don't go full coven) i use some wracks for retrive nachmund data in the web way Complete your army with a lot of harlequins in a patrol, 3 units of troupe, 1 shadow seer for mortal wounds and eventually psichic interrogation and other stuff. For those who says that Drukhari are in a good balanced state they are wrong, without harlequins and their ability to kill space marines easily they quite suck hard.
Wracks are die instantly in current meta. 6+ save is not a defense, feel no pain for damage 2 or more does nothing. Ravager sometimes hit hard, and lots of times wound minimal... :(
I really wish they had made Grotesques more durable (like they used to be) instead of dropping their cost. Coven choice can mitigate the reduced longevity, but it's still not the same.
great video, just a slight correction.. you mentioned paying the points for the voidraven bombers' void mine which is incorrect. It comes with the mine for free but you can pay more points for the voidraven missiles which is an extra gun to use each turn with 2 shot profiles to choose from.
I meant in comparison with the Razorwing - the two seem kind of similar shooting-wise, but it's whether you want to pay the +25pts for the big bomb! Sorry if I wasn't clearer.
Not necessarily they are 7’s when you compare them overall but certain units that are 7 and less have niche uses that can outperform 10’s that are generalists. So if you are trying to fill that specific niche in your army and 7 does that you should certainly consider it. Tl;dr look at what role your army needs filled rather than raw ratings of a unit.
it's not a drukhari rule, it's part of the standard rules for disembarking from a transport... "Units that disembark can then act normally (move, shoot, charge, fight, etc.) in the remainder of the turn, but its models count as having moved that turn, even if they are not moved further (i.e. they never count as having Remained Stationary)"
In order to do it you have to take the "Splintered Genius" upgrade. That's what the actual upgrade is called that makes him a Master. Once you select that Trueborn will appear as a troop choice.
This score is hilarious. Top drukhari units imho are wracks, grotesque, ravagers, cronos (only technomancer) court, drazhar, helions. When i build list i would use mostly only those units and ofc HQs, they are kinda meh but u dont have a choice.

Black Heart in a realspace raids gives blades for hire the +1 bonus to power from pain level
Back in the old days, they had maybe one of the most fragile armies, but on the table and the models

i think they should give incubi 2 wounds
or make Hierarch squad and let default Incubi to be in troop slot

I wish the beasts /beastmaster options were better. I like the fluff of the units but they just don't seem worth it most the time

I find mass splinter fire is very useful into AOC. Just force lots of dice

They have T5 with aura, and damage reduction with specific coven. So you have 5T 6+ save and after 5+ fnp even for 2damage.

So 8 is your average, which means we gotta aim for the 9+ units. 8 would be backup units, and anything 7 or below would be absolute dog shit right?

Games Workshop cycled the Court of the Archon out and they don't make those models until they say they do.
