HoldOnToYourTails you're absolutely right. But why the fuck was this never revealed to me before? My god, it's so brilliant! Everything he says is on my fucking mind 24/7, but the melody is what really gets me emotional. This band is a perfect match for me. Oh, and I mostly listen to Joey Badass and other hip hop, this isn't what I'd typically have thrown on any regular day until I found this specifically.
Bushwick Bundy Independent artists & composers !!!! You must go at least once in a while to promoting artists festival or to some random empty pubs(mostly) where they might raid. Just remember to take your friends or ask your friends if they know a friend who likes to sing. I know I had friends who took me to a little folk marathon in a small quiet pub with the friends of the artist. Why wouldn't be like this with composers and indie artistists?! This is much desirable for the artist and the public. I remember once I went to some random hyped artist and people were spilling drinks on floor and even smashed them to floor that crowded was but this way is cleaner and quieter and a little more friendly.

Thank you but the thing is, I think most of the people saying that (like myself for instance) thought it was accidental and that he meant "peacock effect" as like a sound effect or something, because it seems to make sense, but thank you anyways!

I don't think I'm being too clear with my words...I know the definition of affect, it's just that effect would seem to fit as if..god this is hard to explain. I was thinking that "Peacock Effect" was like a thing. I don't know how to explain. *sits in a puddle of awkward*
Tia L You're right. If it were a thing, you would say it like "the peacock effect" just like we say "the butterfly effect". The author of the song is wrong, grammatically. Artistically he can do/spell whatever/however he wants.
Affect isn't a noun. Simple as that. There is NO noun form of affect. So if you're ever in a bind which to use, if it's a noun, it's definitely effect. Both can be verbs though, so there's a challenge there.
one of my favorite songs of all time
I've actually seen this comment a couple times throughout the years. I think on a Coldplay video, Ryan Adams cover of wonderwall, a Bloc Party b-side, maybe some Smiths, Neutral Milk Hotel & my Favorite band, Brand New, even some mathmetal (if any of you know what that is lol) not entirely sure maybe a Lana Del Rey video and last but not least the song Roslyn by Bon Iver. I figured if it's recommend on some of my favorite most special music that's near to my heart, it must be worth checking out. & so I caved. Needless to say I was not disappointed.
