Having fun on stage while working their asses off. When the Kami band first met these girls the girls were so young..13 and 14 i would guess. It seems to me they have taken the job on to protect them, this has caused the tightest of bonds. In fact it seems to me a lot of the metal community have done the same thing. The girls have always shown so much respect to everyone, i think bands have seen this and of course loved it. These girls have changed how people see metal music, [ me for one ]. Great reaction - and this isn't even the best version of this song. Did you notice the drummer pulling faces at one of the girls trying to make her laugh when she was facing him? She was probably doing the same to him. Su-metal's vocals (she is the lead singer) are always spot on despite all the dancing and jumping around. The whole concept for this band was formed around her. They started in 2010 when the girls were aged 12, 11 and 11 - they will be touring the US (20 dates in different cities including their first US arena show at The Forum in LA) in September and October. The guitar arrangements for this song were written by Herman Li and Sam Totman of DragonForce and they played on the studio version. I would like to suggest 'Headbanger' or 'Megitsune' (ideally both) live at Budokan, Red Night ... and there are a whole load more to follow if you want them. Every song they do is different and every song is great - especially the live performances. They won the award from Kerrang for Best Live Act for very good reason.

Go to both if you can - Vegas will be a smaller venue and more intimate so you can see them up close, Inglewood is the Forum show if I'm right and promises to be spectacular with all the fire and amazing staging and more akin to their big shows in Japan or the show they put on when they were the first Japanese band to headline at Wembley Arena here in the UK.

When I saw them last year, Moa was to pass the mic off to Su and did a fake-out on the handoff that got a giggle. Very professional but they have lots of fun owning the stage and the crowd...and at that young an age! Been a musician 40 yrs and THAT is impressive!
I'm 45 now and I have been fan of a few bands, I had my room draped in Iron Maiden posters back in the day, but I have never loved a band like I love BABYMETAL! They are an absolutely unique phenomenon! They are not for everyone, but as you may have seen, if you can accept their unique style, they will leave a deep impression. Whether it's the instrumentalists, the vocals, the dancing, the crowd interaction, the live presentation, the positivity, it's all close to perfection and combined it's one complete package without any competition. And above else, they make you smile like no other band, particularly not in Metal. Well if you are going to do the J/Metal/Rock scene then go all out. All female bands that play their instruments and also have vocals. Some great suggestions to start:

Mary's Blood Marionette (ruclips.net/video/MLM2unV0kwU/видео.html) Wicked 80's metal with Rio's base and Saki's face melting shredding along with Eye's Pop vocals give the Judas Priest sound a whole new vibe.
