I feel that too. I love goodwill but sometimes I don’t feel any urge to go, and sometimes I’m like omg I have this feeling I need to go asap and sure enough I find something great!
I bought my daughter a Cricket doll when she was little. She didn't like dolls as much as I did(and still do) so I wound up playing with her more than my daughter😄great purchase, she looks like she is mint condition!🙂👍
Oh my goodness Cricket! I had her. So funny story….my great grandmother gave me this doll when I was 4. Not two weeks later my older sister let me watch Chucky. So I then became terrified of this cricket doll when she talked and I made my mom keep her in her bedroom so she wouldn’t kill me at night 😂
Omg!! Cricket!! I had her when I was 3 and she was my favorite!! I lost her in a house fire and my dad got me a new one for my 17th birthday! 🥰 She has a brother named Corky, where the voice for him is the same kid who did the voice of the Good Guy doll in Child's Play. We painted Corky and turned him into Chucky, and he looks just like him! We even added Chucky audio to him!! Awesome find though, she looks in perfect condition and love all of her accessories!!
Hi Stephanie, I had to come back and watch Everything I missed. Great find on the Cricket doll, I found her at an auction a couple weeks ago. I hope you keep her in the collection, she can be a talking creep 😆
If you ever come across the World of wonder Julie doll... that one will definitely trip you out!!! I believe Cricket was part of the My Buddy.. and yes it’s the complete collection 💜
I really remember that doll. It was just not a newborn baby doll . Which yeah totally know whatcha mean. I was raised up kinda anti plastic . So dolls like that were sorta mesmerizing.
That’s so cool. So my sister in laws neighbors were throwing out half their house cus the moon passed… so they were throwing out a lot of old stuff. The three out a doll still in the box from 1967! It’s the worlds first action ballet doll. I note have it put up. I don’t know why they would just throw the stuff away. It was way b4 covid so I don’t know. I didn’t have cricket. I was 5 in 1986. I was all about cabbage patch dolls and there was anatomically correct no babies (you had to order them) that I had.
I think its interesting you brought up the numbers. 11 is a significant number to me, my first 3 kiddos all have an 11 in their birthday. My first was born in the 11th month, my second was born in 2011 and my third was born on the 11th day of the month. Interesting enough my 4th and final baby was born on the 13th day of feb and 13-2=11.
I had Cricket when I was a kid and so did my older cousin. But I think someone threw her or something and one of her eyes ended up stuck in the back of her head. She was pretty heavy for a kid. I only had one book and tape tho lol.
Wow.... Stephanie what a find. Whoever had her did take care of her for sure. I remember her. What a fun doll.
I had that doll ..she's one of my favorites. She didn't come with all of that though..just two tapes..how awesome

There's a RUclips that shows you how to fix her speaking with the tapes....just rubber bands that have probably dry-rotted. Good luck!
