My heart breaks. This church is not far from where I live. ALL sexual immorality is sin. ALL sex outside of the Biblical covenant of marriage is a sin. It’s really that simple.
Demons don’t like their lies exposed. I’m not talking about the people but the demons living inside them. I love challenging questions since I always see God give me or the person next to me exactly the right words. I was at a prolife rally and this man walked up to us and basically challenging us if we didn’t adopt we shouldn’t be there. Interesting he approached the youth pastor and wife who personally adopted. They never mentioned that they adopted but that several members of our church were adopted that were on other side of the street and he should talk to them. I felt lead to pray while they talk and it was a great interaction. I pray that man came to God either that day or soon after.

As an Assyrian we have our Bible in Aramaic and we are taught that what he was saying about homosexuality is true. It is a sin and Jesus spoke Aramaic as well so it shouldn’t be a wrong translation either. They just don’t want to accept the truth.

In 1Corinthians 6:9 the word ARSENOKOTAI is used to describe homosexuality SPECIFICALLY referring to men lying in SAME BED with other males. The word ARSENOKOTAI breaks down as this: "Arsen" in Greek is "ARSENikos", which MEANS MALE. The remaining of the word "ARSENOKOTAI" in ancient Greek means bed or lying down in bed... During biblical times there seems to have been MALE homosexuality, but it is unknown if there was FEMALE homosexuality, therefore, when these scriptures were written in various places in the Bible, they referred to males only... That was really uncomfortable. The pastor has an agenda and I think it's to lead people to hell. I saw no fruit of the spirit in him. Those people need to practice discernment to see that they are in error.

Some people go to the places where they're gonna hear what they wanna hear, they want to be there, it's a choice. There's no shortage of good churches preaching The TRUE gospel. They are with him because they want to. You see how they responded to the young man of God? They agree with their leader. Leave them there, they're burying each other in lies. We can still pray for all those who are led astray, but the ones who made their choice willingly and knowingly, that's it for them, if they harden their heart, ain't nothing you can do about it. It is only by God's grace that they can turn around, but if they refuse, ain't nothin to be done about it...! We all have free will my brother.

Dud you guys notice how many times the pastor said MY? My church, my people, etc. He said it over and over. This is his church, his way. It's not about God at all. My husband used to attend a Methodist Church and joined a Bible study there where they also didn’t think the whole Bible was to be taken literally. I went to one study and it seemed that most of them were confused on a lot of things in the Bible. Most of these people were very intelligent, and older. I felt they were over thinking everything. They were too logical. I felt they were not led my the Holy Spirit. 😢
