The Thor Ragnarok question is worked really badly. Technically, Odin dying starts the events of Ragnarok. Also, one could argue with the discussion that Thor, Loki and Valkyrie have on the bridge when facing Hela that the only thing that can stop Hela is Ragarok, meaning it hasn't happened yet. So, in that context Loki initiates it by placing Surtur's crown on the Eternal Flame. If anything Hela doesn't want Ragnarok to happen at all. Why would she want the destruction of the thing that gives her the most power? Who is she.. a female version of Thanos from the comics?

I thought loki releasing surtr was Ragnarok surtr said only he can make Ragnarok happen by destroying Asgard and Loki freed him in Asgard.
Yup Loki reanimating Surtr is what causes Ragnarok. As Surtr destroying Asghard is what was described as "Ragnarok" in the beginning of the movie. You could argue that Hela was the main motivation behind causing it but she didn't trigger it. If Loki hadn't done anything Ragnarok wouldn't have happened.
I remember Dan said in an episode years ago that he did see it. And that his only thoughts on it were that it was a very funny and a very colorful movie

If I recall, Shazam as originally named Captain Marvel and was acquired by DC. Then there was a raging lawsuit from Marvel, which DC lost and thus renamed him Shazam.

This is correct, although Captain Marvel i'm pretty sure preceded Marvel Comics...but the move to DC was after Marvel was formed hence the lawsuit

Darth Bane’s rule of two is so ingrained into my memory at this point. I can’t do math to save my life but damn do I know Star Wars lore.
I literally told a RUclipsr about the Rule of Two when he was casually reviewing Red Harvest, just yesterday. I sounded so nerdy as well. "The Rule of Two was established 2642 years AFTER the book in question, by a student at the very same Sith Academy you were confused about, called Darth Bane." I almost even talked about his appearance in TCW as well.

Arin Handpicking manga to be a category and not knowing what The Promised Neverland is will always haunt me.
To be fair, the promised neverland is only a few years old. It's pretty clear to me as a long-time watcher that Arin kinda stopped watching a lot of anime / reading manga when his channel got big in the late 2000s. With all the stuff he's involved in, it's not terribly surprising. He's just too busy and chooses to do other things with his very limited time.
Its a newer series. People can enjoy manga and not keep up with it.

No, it was never finished, sadly, and was in the middle of a huge status quo upheaval in the story. It's a really good series, but holy crap it's hard to read because of how real it is.

In theory, if you skipped the intro every time, they only mention it a handful of times in the first few dozen episodes. If you never really got into the series and habitually skip openings, it's possible to not remember.

Yes he uses flying when he gets drunk but he doesn't know it (because he's drunk).
He does jump out of the tree and fly but he thinks it's due to the magic feather, not himself.
He only really realises he can fly during the clown show when he loses the feather and does it on his own to save himself.
He *figures out* he can fly all by himself at the clown show but he techinically flies first when he's drunk but he doesn't realise it so he doesn't figure it out.

The Bane Trilogy is one of the best series of novels I've ever read Dan ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO READ THEM
In regards to Captain Marvel, the game is not talking about Carol Danvers, they are talking about Billy Batson. When the New 52 happened, DC officially changed his name to Shazam. Despero is a mind-contolling alien bad guy with a third eye and a big fin on his head. Phantom Girl, I believe, is one of the Legion of Superheroes.
