I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (December 25, Christmas Day), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Joyous News!" The hymn, "Go Tell It on the Mountain," stanzas written by John W. Work, Jr. (1872-1925), is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture. And I just want to take the time to wish everyone watching this a Merry Christmas.
I can't get to church & being able to watch your weekly sermon has been a major blessing to me.... You've truly become my Pastor even from 1000 miles away.... Thank you Pastor Frey....
This sermon is somehow elevating. You point out a few things that hadn't occurred to me, despite my having read and heard these passages time and again. I am really honored to be able to watch and listen to your sermons. Please keep up the good work! May God bless you.
Hi Peter! I'm physically unable to go to church. I found your channel and I think your wonderful pastor. So I watch your videos and you make me feel closer to God. Thank you!
Peter your spirit shines through in your preaching. It's been a long time since I have seen a pastor speak and motivate me by there message. Well you did that to me today Peter and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was feeling exactly how you mentioned in your message today. I'm tired of dialysis three times a week. I'm tired of being poked six times a week. I'm tired of my weekly doctors appointments. I'm tired of being operated on. I'm tired of life in general. Thanks for reminding me that no matter who you are where you come from that God put his son on earth so we can live. Your message brightened my day and gives me hope and I thank you for that. I wish you and Mary a very Merry Christmas and god provides you with a miracle!!
(HUG) Peter thank you sooooooo much for this awesome message from GOD, you're faith, your quietness, and your confident trust in Jesus Christ brings such peace! You are a blessing!
ME DENISE AND DANIELLE WE GOING TO PRAY FOR MARY TO LET HER COMING OUT ALL GOOD AND BE BLESSED THAT THE HOLY spirit WILL GUIDE THERE HAND'S MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU WELL
Awesome sermon Peter. I just watched it with my brother Michael. My day Monday was filled with calls to realitives letting them know my brother Bobby passed away November 17th. I am going to announce it in Facebook soon. But of course not till I've told family. Making funeral arrangements long distance takes time. Added to that my uncle Terry passed away November 20th. A very meaninful sermon for me. As a side note could you add in the description box the chapter's you use in your sermon. So viewer's can mark the passages in thier bible to fallow along.
