I actually really enjoyed your back and forth with the vendor, it helped me practice my Japanese because it was slow enough that I could pick up words, plus there was a lot of foreign words used that I could piece it all together.
The best Christmas Market we went to so far was at Hakata Station this past December! The churros and hot chocolate were the best! Love seeing you both on a video again too!
Great to see you guys healthy and happy in 2025. Hope you'll have a great year. Stay safe, take care, and may you and your beloved ones never know what war is. Best wishes from frontline of russo-Ukrainian war.
@saurabhyadav4662 Heroiam slava! (Glory to Heroes) Thank you very much for your support and solidarity, dear friends! Without the support from all of you, guys - People of Good Will from all over the world - Ukraine could not have stand. We will be victorious, because we are fighting for our land and our freedom. Thanks again, stay safe, and God bless to you all!
They had a stamp rally for this. It was fun. Prize in the end was a clear file and stickers. All the Mario Decor was so cute! They don’t have any Xmas trees 😆
22:03 Also, to add my two cents worth. Its pronounced “Ant-arc-ti-ca” and not “An-tar-cti-ca” The amount of people that I correct is absolutely phenomenal (so far its zero). Fun fact. Interesting, eh? 🤔
Also, John pronounces a landmark in Tokyo incorrectly, and he's lived in Tokyo for years. It's A-sak-sa, not A-sa-kus-a. In the recent free tour group video that John just made, the local tour guides are pronouncing Asakusa, A- sak - sa, and John is standing right next to them pronouncing it the wrong way. I'm surprised that they didn't correct him. Trying to be polite, I guess
@onlyinjapanGO John, I completely understand the dialect and accent challenges when growing up American and living abroad later, After living in London in the 2000s, I automatically pronounce Birmingham as "BER-ming-um" instead of Birming-Ham. If I say it now, I'd spend the following two minutes enduring laughter from friends and fam. Lol
😂 haha!! I think if you actually lived in these places, you can get a pass but people who pronounce things funny living in their home country, reminds me of Little Sheldon hahaha! Slightly annoying and funny.
You were thinking of this Seinfeld quote: "Field of vision". ;) About Seinfeld; you have a generous follower that is giving regular donations that has the name of a George alter ego and it's hilarious that you mention his name regularly ;)
It’s not such an old tradition 😂 a way to recycle old stuff. Every RUclips does it every year so it’s not very original or interesting to me. None of my friends buy them. None! I don’t know who does actually, usually grannies with disposable income I guess.
These collab videos with Peter are always so enjoyable when you guys are teasing each others😂lol ! Thank you for sharing this guys 🙂👍!!!

PvG's night ride was awesome with smiles. Great to see both of you. Always enjoy your conversations.
It was pretty epic!
Love it when these 2 give each other a hard time. 😅
Cool! Good to see Pater back. Thanks for sharing it. ✌️
PvG is back, in the house!

John nervously talking to the vendor as his friend picks up women off the street 😂
😂 get husband came … they’re “co-workers”
@@onlyinjapanGOIf you say so lol
The dynamic duo! Always entertaining

I love how you both roast each other. Makes me a comedic watch. You can tell you guys are good friends.
Hi John from Vancouver BC Canada
Beautiful place, even in the Winter.
They had a stamp rally for this. It was fun. Prize in the end was a clear file and stickers. All the Mario Decor was so cute! They don’t have any Xmas trees 😆
👌🏻As always, an enjoying meeting!
John and PVG 💖 the best duo on RUclips!!
Great to see Peter
adding these Kagamis to my shopping list

15:13 I've never heard of the term "fruitcake" used like that, but everyday I'm learning new words from Peter and you.
Yeah, sometimes all sorts of weird words come outta of expats divided from home home for decades 😂
Ah, that was the advanced scouting (PVG) you were doing during the Shinjuku bus terminal stream.
Hi, can you mention the western outskirts place in Tokyo you mentioned 76 km away? I could not catch the name. Sounds interesting.
Okutama, I believe
Okutama and Mitake
Two old men sitting on a park bench. This could be a long-term formula. When you get old, I mean.
I use skin cream! It’s hard to tell my age, visually anyway 😂 ask Ralph Macchio.

FWIW the T in "Moët & Chandon" isn't silent. It is pronounced a bit like "mo-wet"
“You’re into Avon.” Good one John.😊 BTW, pronounce Tokyo any way you want.
PvG’s mom got him hooked on Avon 😂
Why are closed captions blocked?
Question: why not do fukubukoro video? It’s a very Japanese tradition in the new year.

Can I pet that dawg?
You also say "Terist" a lot.
Wow this American man is handsome ❤
When can we get a visiting to Japan 2025 update
I would love to go on a To kyo--- night bike ride with Peter❤. LOL He could fill me in on all the "HOT"spots.
I think words/names should just be pronounced correctly, like how the locals would pronounce it.
Good luck with the Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese locations 😂
so did diddy
