This is overall my favorite Orochi game in the series.
Same.
yesss
I wish it was ported to switch so bad :(
Finally available on steam!
the best. nuff said
"This has become Koei's Smash bros"
Facts, this game is an actual masterpiece to me
damn thinking about it Sophita in the game, now i want a Soul Calibur Musuo game!
The PC version came out a few days ago.
Pros:
Contains 90% of the DLC for free
60 FPS gameplay
Includes the pre-order costumes from WO3 and WO3U (not the weapons).
Cons:
Missing the PS4 exclusive Gauntlet Mode stages
Missing a few DLC weapons like the ones from the Weapons Pack DLC
Sophitia's DLC costume is missing
Some Wallpapers are Japanese exclusive (as in you need to change your language settings to view them)
A few visual bugs like characters turning black when you use Musou Attacks with a monitor that has a higher refresh rate than 60FPS
Due to the gameplay being linked to FPS, enemies can cut down on allies' health much faster than before.
is that why I've been getting my ass kicked recently because of the FPS? boy thats rough, I knew something felt odd when even on normal I was dying on the earlier levels more then I should.
@@MrMariosonicman It gets worse when it comes to allies. Most of the time you have two allies about to die on opposite sides of the map! I wish there was a split feature like in PW3 so you can have your playable characters go to different sides of the map.
I've used to play every single warriors game in the ps2 era, I forgot this series, now thanks to your video I bought this one and fell in in love all over again, is a great game to get back on
Glad to reintroduce you to the wonderful world of Warriors games.
The only con that Warriors Orochi 3 has is that there's no English Voice Acting, period.
I love how energetic you are in these videos.
Koei is always a couple bad design choices away from making a perfect Warriors game. If you took the best aspects of each one you'd have the best game ever, but for some reason Koei seems to struggle identifying what makes their games good.
YEP
I wanna compliment you rq for being very educated on your history and name pronunciation you're truly inspiring and your channel is extremely underrated I enjoy all the mosou content here
great video dude! not a lot of people talk about the warriors orochi series so i'm really happy to find someone doing it!
Considering it’s such an old game, it was SUCH a good game, and a great nostalgia booster
This was my 2nd warriors game my first was warriors orochi 1 and I do not regret my choices on that
Masamune wearing Xiahou Dun's outfit is because they share the same JP voice actor
This game is perfect, no cons at all
One thing I really like about Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate is I've put over 300 hours into it in the year or so I've had on Steam and I still have stuff to do. I recently started playing Gauntlet Mode and crafted almost all the X weapons as well as unlocking Hundun. Even after 300 hours, most of my characters are nowhere near fully promoted and leveled. I'm currently working on maxing out the compatibility for all the X weapons I have so far. It's the Warriors game available on Steam I've put the most time into. I think the next highest game is Dynasty Warriors 7 XL and that's only in the 200 hour range.
This is one of my favorite of the warriors games. Just love how many characters you can choose from
How can I change the character in it? I’m playing it on psvita and no matter what button i press they don’t switch like orochi2
Ma Chao aka Spear of Justice!
Sima Zhao aka Slacker Dude
Takenaka Hanbei aka Sleepyhead
These guys get to be the major players of the story while the Three Great Unifiers, Lu Bu, the Rulers of the Three Kingdoms, the spear wielding posterboys of the Warriors series and other characters get sidelined
One of my all time faves I have this game also
Me trying to pronounce characters names... *COW COW*
COW COW OMFG 🤣
Cow Pee! Cow Pee!
Bro gauntlet mode was great. At first I felt the same way but it was actually fun once I figured out how it works. It’s basically a character powerleveler. And it was a nice change of pace from power fantasy to frantically trying to get treasure while finding the exit portal before I got annihilated.
You can build your characters/weapons up to be able to easily survive Gauntlet mode at max miasma. And the biggest benefit of the mode is getting Hundun, getting each character's strongest weapons (the X weapons), and getting easy access to Orbs for weapon fusion, especially with the more OP attributes like Tri-Element and Windslay.
That being said, as someone who just got done platinuming the game, Gauntlet mode can _definitely_ wear on you. You're right that the core gameplay isn't the most engaging. I'd rather have it there than not, but it's not the best extra mode in the Musou franchise for sure.
Dude it's perfectly fine even I don't like gauntlet mode. It's sucks that's the only way you can unlock the one final hidden character And the fact that this was the start of the let's only have Japanese voices for every single dynasty Warriors and samurai Warriors game after this one. But despite that, this was my Orochi game to start me off, the one I love the most because of how good the story is and hell it gives me my favorite Atelier character in a Musou game Strek and I miss him already thanks to 4 and Ultimate. All in all, this is probably my favorite Orochi game due to all of the content that is in it and the fact that it is still a lot of fun. Fantastic review Chris!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I can give a spoiler for next week's video and say that WO3U is my favourite Orochi as well. I won't reveal anything beyond that though. :P
Better get fired up, Chris. Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate has released on PC on Steam, titled the 'Definitive Edition', hopefully you check it out and review it next May!
Is this more fun than 4?
@@goldmagistrate5732 Miles better than 4 imo, even had more crossovers.
@@KoKosBizarreWorld yea,wo3u is way more polished compared to wo4
Probably the Best Orochi Game and Better than Orochi 4
It suck they didn't bring the game to PC
Still waiting for the miracle
I bought this game solely for Sterk, and I don't regret it in the least. He's such a BEAST!
Lu Bu and hundun better
This game is very cool that let us see the interaction between Warrior series characters..(other game tha let this crossover series happen will make an online mobile game).
Omg i almost forgot about the musuo battlefield! It was a great idea.
I remember making my own story there and writing my own dialogs. I dont remember the story exactly but was multiple stages where the first battle is you fighting the enemy and then the 2nd stage is where the enemy escape and you have to stop them. There were some comedy stages too. I wish they bring it back.
Would be great to be able to record your own voice lines and just watch the creativity of the community. You could almost do a Musou Abridged. But I know some people would abuse the system if there's no manual review process.
@@ChrisGildart yea the voice is a cool idea but you know how “some people” will misuse it 😅. However, making an ai to say the lines you write would be cool tho. Better than weird silent 😂. But not gonna happen since they didnt even dub the game.
This is my favorite orochi game. I loved this so much
Honestly, I recently played through Gauntlet mode, and unlocked Hundun.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. If you just race for the exits to the stage, and you know, try to avoid combat......AKA the very reason why you're playing a Warriors game in the first place.....
3:47 I strongly disagree about the story
there is a plot in every chapter in previous game Witch are different . One also thing is that it had the best set up
it just makes players more intrested in to the characters
I loved playing this game, my dad originally showed me this game a few years ago, since my xbox one no longer works, I haven't been able to play it anymore, and I think the reason for no english dub was because of all of the characters and getting all of the voice actors that voiced them in the dub version of their games being difficult.
Edit:I liked the way the graphics were, it gave the feeling of samurai warriors 2 empires and I really don't like how blinding the new games are.
It’s really difficult to get the various English voice actors to jump back and forth and voice various characters in the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series and in order to avoid back and forth problems, new voice actors will be assigned to voice the other characters . Since Christopher Corey Smith is the voice of Yuan Shao in the later Dynasty Warriors games and he’s the English VA of Oda Nobunaga in the previous Warriors Orochi games and Samurai Warriors 3, Christopher Corey Smith could focus on voicing Oda Nobunaga while Troy Baker handles voicing Yuan Shao. Heck, Steve Blum could make a return to the Warriors franchise and voice Hojo Ujiyasu since his voice is suitable for cold blooded and menacing badasses like Wolverine, Spike Spiegel and Shishio Makoto (despite Shishio being a severely burned psychopath)
Behold the standard pc player
@@geert574 Nope, I'm allergic to the light, so it sucks whenever I play games with really bright colors and such.
I’d LOVE a full blown Soul Calibur Musou game. While I like the gameplay of Warriors games, I don’t care for the characters much, as I’m not into history. As such, my favorite Warriors games end up being Fire Emblem Warriors and the Hyrule Warriors games.
A Soul Calibur Warriors game would be awesome! Namco and Kori have worked in the past before, so it's not completely off the tables too.
Im surprised you didnt mention the PSP version, while it wasnt localized like SW3 and DW7 on PSP, it did get a fan patch to translate it into being playable.
What really sucks tho is that there is no English voice acting for this game
Like for me it would be a 10/10 if it was the case
heavy disagree on the gauntlet mode.
Let's get this out of the way, the mode is fun but it is far from perfect. Like mentioned before in the comments, I think that certain skills should be taken out to balance the fight against enemies but not leave you soo underpowered. And that any character that dies should be wiped out permanently for the match or until the next level to encourage players not to die (since you could easily just swap to another character and run away until that character gets revived). Pretty sure there are other issues that I can list off the top of my head when I come around to it.
So the reasoning on the "same stage" argument is kind of confusing but I will tackle it the best I can
-I do agree that the whole game mode is essentially trying to find portals and fight off random variations of enemies (which is fun IMO). But also gathering resources to get the best weapons for your characters (which does vary from stage to stage). And miasma intensity also varies from stage to stage. So the stages aren't technically "all the same"
-You also do mini quests that allow you to get fairly decent-rare rewards. However, my main criticism is that they lack variety IMO and too few. But considering you didn't get too deep into this, I will let that pass
I honestly see no problem about the chests helping or hindering you. It is a risk and reward type of situation esp. when many chests contains many useful items/orbs. And nothings really stopping you from just not opening them. It also does help to give the map some level of variety.
The complains about the Miasma level I see is unwarranted. Gauntlet mode at higher miasmal levels require you to have pretty good weapons, skills, and items in combination with good movesets of your characters. It's not something you can just run into without any thought, which might have been the case in this instance especailly when you had difficulty killing troops at high miasma with lvl 1000 characters.
TBH most of the complains I see here is just a misunderstanding of the mode and a mode that isn't clearly for players that want mindless casual action, which it seems to be in your case.
How the hell is this still full price on PSN store , I like dynasty warriors but damn I wont pay 79.99$ plus tax for a game that came out in 2014.
I bought a physical copy used for way cheaper

funny story. I got this game on my ps4 because i just got the consoles and randomly came across it on psn. I had no idea it was a big crossover extraveganza as i bought it because I wanted to try a koei warriors game. Meaning I played this big cross over while having no idea who any was. This was my first warriors game period
Wow, imagine your first time was with arguably the biggest entry in the whole franchise.
Wait how the heck did you summon characters to fight besides you?!?! at 8:56 that is mind blowing!!!!

DW4 remake would be great... 😌
Agreed.
Facts that might be the most fun I had in the games, but orochi 3 ultimate is so good
7:23 this is actually a joke where basara version of masamune got the same voice actor with xiahou dun
Kazuya Nakai voiced both Xiahou Dun and Date Masamune, two warriors who happen to have eyepatches due to their eye missing
Recently finished this game , I agree with all what you have said and I would like to add that the final fight with Orochi X was pretty bad and not balanced and didnt fit the epic arena, soundtrack and build up for it.
Hey, me again. Out of Warriors Orochi 1, 2, 3, 3Hyper, 3Ultimate, 4, and 4Ultimate, which one is your favorite? Whether it just be nostalgia, the best time you had out of it, or just whichever you think has the best/most content and plays the best.
Oh and, as an owner of Orochi 3 and 3 Ultimate, do you think buying 3 Hyper would be worth it for my Wii U? I only have one other game for my Wii U, that being Mario 3D World, hahaha. Hope you don't mind my annoying constant questions; I'm a Warriors fanatic. Wish I could find a forum of it. Polls!!!
I dont mind questions at all. I would say WO3U is my favourite. Just has more reasons for me to come back to it. More content overall that I enjoy, and I like the guest characters because some have only appeared in WO3U.
As far as WO3H on Wii U goes, I wouldnt recommend it if you already have Ultimate. I have Hyper, myself. But I mostly bought it because I collect. It has less content than Ultimate. If you're looking for a good Warriors game for your Wii U and you don't already have a Switch, the Hyrule Warriors is a must get.
This the game I really want but never had a chance to play it 💔
0:58 And better with Sophitia added from Soul Calibur 4.
I was hype for that too!

I agree almost completely, except that I LOVE gauntlet mode, and I think true triple musou is way way too powerful, and thus a bad addition, but you’re kind of forced to use it for crafting materials.
Good review
Thanks!
i agree 100 %, my only con with this game is that there is no steam port for the ultimate edition. Kinda sucks
It would be nice to see this get a PC release. But I'm pretty sure the reason it never happened is because of licensing, since they use Sophitia from Soul Calibur.
@@ChrisGildart true, this game is still enjoyable now that im achievement hunting
sucks that there’s a switch port too, but it’s only in Japanese 🥺
orochi2 still my favorite
I've getting uben mystic weapons doing dlc levels using the powerful Xu Shu
*Hears he hasn't unlocked Hundun*
I'll say this, I hated gauntlet mode too .... but he is soooo worth getting, definitely one of the 3 strongest characters imo.
I eventually did unlock Hundun. He was much easier to get than Orochi X in WO2. Got him on one of my livestreams.
Chris Gildart I accidentally deleted my WO2 file after I unlocked him 🥺 but I ended up getting back to where I was. Grinding itsukushima helps a lit
That's same with me an WO1, SW1, and DW2-5. Deleted my old files when I sold my PS2. Slowly working them back up.
One big Q: does the Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate has all the content from the og release WO3 or i will miss something? Cuz i dont want to miss anything, im on PS3 btw, same Question with Samurai Warriors 4 and 4-II and Dynasty Warriors 8 and Extreme Legends (i want to play the most complete version of the 3 franchises)
WO3U is kinda like DW8XLCE. It's the base game PLUS additional content. However SW4-II is a completely separate game from SW4. It's got different stories, growth, and combat mechanics, but the same characters and gameplay.
@@ChrisGildart thanks for the reply bud, cuz i was about to wipe SW4 for 4-II, now i'm going to buy a hard drive just for musou games XD
Honestly I just feel like the cut some corners with this game to make sure that you had tons of DLC
You should talk about Warriors All-Stars with the Orochi games.
I thought about doing that, but I didn't have the time for a fifth review. I'm saving it for another time though. They'll all get PvC reviews eventually.
I know many East Asia history and legend thanks to Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and Warrior Orochi series..
I’m confused. Is there a difference between the vanilla and ultimate? I have vanilla for Xbox 360 and I pretty much have the same features. The environmental graphics is just a bit off.
There were a lot of minor changes from WO3 to WO3U. Mostly new characters and stages. You can also promote officers once they reach level 100, which resets their level but gives them a slight boost in overall stats. Meaning you can level up everyone to level 1,000. The Triple Rush attack is only available in Ultimate, Midair Skills, you can call your horse, Mystic Weapons, and a colour editor for characters' base game costumes. I believe there's extra DLC that only available in the Ultimate version.
Great enthusiasm
I have a question regarding this game,
Is it like dynasty warriors 7/8 where you have to do missions in the game? Or is it like the older parts of dynasty where you can decide what you wanna do however you want?
It's a mix. Sometimes you'll have to do something specific to open a door or path. But I'd also say that 7 and 8 aren't always linear missions. Especially with 8 most battles have those missions, but you can go off and do something else but a door or path won't open up until you complete said mission.
2 reasons to play guantlet mode:
unlocking hundun- the stronger character in the game
and crafting x weapons- the strongest weapons in the gane
hundun rules the battlefield. if fully promote him and and give him his x weapon with multi and brilliance you basically can't lose. and also the reason why x weapons are the strongest weapons in the game is every x weapon has a +99 max compatibility damage boost. comparing the strongest weapon version in the game you have strongest rare star weapon at 12+54 max compatibility, strongest mystic weapon at 90+18 and strongest x weapon at 99+99. do you see the MASSIVE damage boost with x weapons? gauntlet mode may be a tedious grind at times but it's DEFINITELY worth it
After unlocking Hundun, I don't believe it's worth it to me. I usually don't play on the harder difficulties if I'm just sitting down to have a nice relaxing time. So the other weapons will do the trick for now. I just gotta get everyone up to a workable level.
Hey, Man, the DLC stages, do you recommend to buy them, or are they just a copy of existing scenarios in-game with no real adition to story?
They don't really add anything substantial, imo. But there is a DLC stage for Gauntlet Mode that gives you lots of experience. So that one is worth it for grinding.
@@ChrisGildart thanks for the answer Man, it helped save my money to buy DW empires on the future
Yeah, the lack of an English dub really hurt. It took a long time for me to get into it thanks to this. But with this being the only Warriors game on the Wii U I had to persevere, and ultimately am glad I did as I would have missed out otherwise. Still would have been so much better with the dub.
I cant beat orchi 3 ult as for some reason 2 or 3 of my buddy misson just wont start, they wont start whats so ever,i have gotten the bonds for every character max for everyone and the starter for the missions just wont appear
I really like WO3UDE rather than WO4U
The story is really good than WO4, i don't really like using some magic item in WO4 it's just boring me

I played it on ps4 slim, it is laggy when large number of soldier around you and sometimes the officer are disappear until you killed few soldier to make it appear although you can see it on the map. I love this game but that laggy part makes me lose interest to play sometimes.
Sterkenberg was my favorite character.
He was such a beast. Wish he was in WO4.
I always was an ayane type person 😂
Zhang Jiao farms gauntlet much better and u can switch to other characters because he doesn't have an annoying 'wait till it runs out musou'
I can tell you the best part of this whole game...Shin Musou Battlefields! That is seriously the best thing that Omega Force has ever came up with, and it gave the game a huge amount of replay value than it already has as a result and i'm a sucker for things like that, I'm quite saddened that you were not fond on such a thing as I am, but ok then, I'm just very happy to have a mode like this. As good as Warriors Orochi 4 ultimate was, I was so damn disappointed when they removed Shin Musou Battlefields and the WO3U versus mode in 4, hence why I say that 3 is one of the best in the series. What was Omega Force thinking when they removed such amazing features? Shin Musou Battlefields has been seriously slept on and people really need to give it a try, since I love modifying the battles to my liking, and it also needs to be in future Musou titles, licensed or not, yes, even Samurai Warriors 5. Also WO3U is not on steam, I hope that can be remedied with a definitive edition release.
I think I would have liked Musou Battlefields more if it was more fleshed out. Rather than just swapping units and giving us slight alterations that we can add or take away, I think it would have been cool to be able to just start from scratch. Pick any battlefield, place enemy and allied units around the map, choose footsoldier unit types for generals and how big their army is. If people were given the option to create their own stages from scratch, I think this would have been much better.
@@ChrisGildart I still loved that you can swap out officers that the player can encounter, because playing the same fixed stage as it was mostly gets repetitive for me, so it was great for features like this to shake things up a bit, yes it could be fleshed out at some places, but I'm just incredibly glad for something like this. If there was a feature where you can indeed pick any environment and create your own custom battles from scratch with a huge selection of options and just have fun with the battles, that would have been so fucking amazing too. Still when they omitted this in the fourth game, it was a total waste! More ways to play and enjoy the battles equals more replay value for me.
@@ChrisGildartstart from scratch mean you need a new full game just for that just like mario maker but call it warrior maker 😂.
@@ChrisGildartchanging lines was great tho. Helped me write some stories in them 😂.
I didn't knew that wo3 ultimate had any cons xd, anyway its pros are way better. It's an amazing game indeed.
im super confused....crossover weapons?O I've never seen that option in the store, DLC or in game store?
The cross-over weapons are the big star weapons. Some of them are just the character's secret weapon from the game their from, but others are weapons from other characters or games.
@@ChrisGildart Oh that makes sense, I always thought the big star ones were the stupid ones from DW7 DLC lol
Some of them are, to be fair.
im a filthy casual but i love these games....warriors orochi 3 ultimate, pirate warriors 3 and dynasty warriors gundam reborn to me are the best but if we're talking the bread and butter it has to be DW 5
Those are some good picks for tops Warriors games.
DW 8 XL CE was Dynasty warriors at it's peak when it comes to content and fun. But I agree with you if DW5 XL is the best of the PS2 DW games.
Since this game already has NG/DoA and SC guest characters its too bad Hayate (DoA) and Taki (SC) didn't make the cut along with the guests already in. Between SW, NG/DoA, and SC the would be a solid selection of ninjas to choose from.

This game desperately needs a 60fps patch for the ps5 and series x... this game is too good to have werid performance. People should really petition a patch
I doubt that would go anywhere. Japanese game devs are rarely going back to older products to fix them. They'd rather release a new product with those changes, especially when new hardware is involved. And that might not be the greatest due to licensing.
@@ChrisGildart And yet they gave DW8 a 60fps patch on PS5

Yes you can duel!
Since I am seeing some activity here on this game. Maybe someone could give some advice. I have tried raising bonds with certain characters to open the gaiden stages, like for example I I can't seem to get the stage to open for Diao Chan. Tried changing characters multiple times, re ran the stage multiple times, always see Sima Shi me mention her at the end but the convo never shows at camp.
Jason Clute Which stage in particular are you trying to unlock?
how would you rate WOZ if it had a English version ?
Either an 8.5 or a 9.
The main con is they never made a PC version :(
Lets use emu then lol
They finally did it!
Yeah your right gauntlet mode isn't good. The only reason I played it was to get all the unlockables. So tedious playing it grinding through the stages and fighting difficult enemies ect.
I'm glad I'm not alone with that. I've heard so many people love Gauntlet Mode, but I just can't get into it.
Is this there for PC?
Unfortunately, there is no PC version of Warriors Orochi 3. I believe this is because they would have put WO3U on Steam if they could, but that games has Sophitia, which is an IP owned by Namco Bandai. So there are licensing issues with putting it on PC.
Chris Gildart ahhh I see. I used to play this on my wii as a kid. Not sure which version of exactly. I really wanted to play it again.

Ohh did not know Sterkenburg is in the roster
How can I change the character in it? I’m playing it on psvita and no matter what button i press they don’t switch like orochi2

@@Casper92013 yeah I already figured it out
You got Hundun yet??
Yup. Got him one stream during one of the Musou May ones.
Good review. Love your review style it's unique and different. WO3 ultimate is good but biggest issue is no dub that put me off for a bit from buying WO3 I hate reading subs and even when the characters use musou attacks you can't hear what there saying. I also think WO3 ultimate should have been the base release I don't like what koei does by putting out a game then re releasing the same again with extra content makes day one buying pointless.
I also wish we got an English dub. Maybe someday we can go back to hearing these characters in English. I personally don't mind getting these Xtreme Legends and Ultimate releases if they are done as expansions like the most recent ones. But the way this was done, you can't do that.
@@ChrisGildart yeah we need dub back. Maybe one day we'll get it
I feel like almost all the content (main story) added in Ultimate was severely mediocre giving the quality of the base game that preceded it. It's like they not only cut hella corners but they also didn't even want to give it a proper budget. It was jarring for me, and mostly unsatisfying once we got around to actually fighting Tomamo.
I will give them this, though: The ability to change colors and everything after you beat the game fully was a dream come true. I can't believe they did that (though tbh I don't see why they can't do that for every game but whatever). It ended up falling short, though. They gave it to you after you had done everything the game had to offer (at least in the main story). So it came far, far too late.
I’m an oddball apparently but I rather dislike this title. It really comes down to how fun each character feels to play.
When I was a kid I played Orochi 2 a lot and almost always used Sun WuKong and Orochi. When I finally unlocked WuKong in this game, he was no longer a speed character (lack of jump cancel) and his nimbus got nerfed to the ground. Seeing my favorite character from the past title get nerfed so hard was already a huge loss for my enjoyment of this title.
Dubbing really helps in following the plot. Sw4 was the only “newer title” I could actually read the dialogue for because it was in the middle of the screen.
Dw7 move sets generally feel like shit. The only satisfying things about their move sets are the EX attacks which are limited to 1. It was fixed in dw8 but that obviously doesn’t apply here.
The last thing I can’t stand about 3u is more of an issue with older titles. After playing dw8 and sw4 all the previous engines feel much clunkier and slow many characters are downright unplayable without agility and other good skills. Unless you spend the time to make everyone’s weapon usable playing a variety of characters feels like a slog (too little damage, slow moves, and minimal AOE). In the newer games, you can just buy the DLC weapons so that everyone can be enjoyed to the full extent. The other sad part is many characters don’t have a means to “cancel” the end lag of their moves. In 4U, every character has an option to cancel their attacks through magic, guard cancel, spirit dash, and jump.
I only have the ps3 version and the visuals suck for that one.
I recently played this title prior to receiving WO4U and I have to say that my points feel more reinforced.
Things I like about this title are that all the non Dw/Sw characters have a fun presence. Their move sets are unique and generally balanced around each other. My only gripe is that some of them have really short range so killing mobs ends up being more tedious. The range thing might be a problem I have with this game’s engine in general.
I love the switch combos in this game, they should’ve kept them in 4U.
Skins are well done in this game, esp the ability to adjust the color palette.
I love experiencing the Ying Long arc since it really explains the lore of the mystic realm. It is kinda weird seeing most of them be friends in 4U. I think if I tried harder to follow the story of orochi games, I would enjoy them much more.
I like it but your complaints are well-founded. The game has lots of content and gauntlet mode is a blast but the lack of dubbing and overall feel of the game doesn't match to the first two orochi games. 3 and 4 are still good games by all rights, but they fall short of 1 and 2 with dubbing *or lack of)being a primary reason as to why these games aren't as immersive.
I think I should -1 point because dw 7 move set square button so many same characters and Zhu Rong weapon boomerang just missing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yea, I miss her boomerang from 4 and 5
Still waiting for the Shin Musha Gundam as guest character. The Shin Musha was made for Gundam Musou.
Is this one or #4 English?
English text only.
Honestly, I feel like it would’ve been the perfect WO if some of the hitboxes were fixed. Especially for Keiji.
I think this was the start of warriors games having japanese only dubs right?
You're correct.
@Noel T. Lat Dynasty Warriors 9 changed the English voice cast which is crap since the old ones are very memorable and somehow, it is fortunate that Dynasty Warriors 9 has Chinese voice acting in order to enjoy an authentic Three Kingdoms experience
