Came here after announcement of sugas Surgery, PRAY FOR HIM GUYS
Yes that's right
Same huhu
I was only expected to get about 80% of my movement back. Which I was happy about, don't get me wrong. I ended up getting about 98%. The guy who worked on me was a champ. Could not stop thanking him after the job was done. Thanks for putting this up (I know it's a 10 year old vid). But thanks non the less.
Bro, pray I don’t have to get this. I hurt my arm throwing javelin and my mri is this week. Hoping it’s not a labrum tear, but the doc was pretty sure.
@For The King 👑 it gives you a fright for sure. But if you follow the rehab 100% and don't do your own thing, you can get a good recovery. I hope you have not stuffed your labrum as well mate.
What was the verdict? @@ForTheKing1
@@ForTheKing1bro how are you now. What were you diagnosed with mr?
@@baytar3543Was diagnosed with “🤷♂️”
Luckily I didn’t need surgery, but still can’t throw balls too hard overhead, definitely wouldn’t be able to throw a javelin.
Omg its so funny that we all had the same idea and came here after the announcement for Suga’s surgery 😆 im still worried but seeing army here made me laugh for sure
Armies share same braincells💜
hehe 💜
I came here because the case of SUGA is the one I've chosen as 1 of my Compilation Papers last Monday. It is a 38-page compilation with over 20 references and because of it, I slept around 2:48 AM then woke up at 6:51 AM to prepare for my online Internship Duty. It was very exhausting yet most memorable thing that happened in my life. Indeed, studying PT is something I even appreciated more rn 😊💜
I’m here cause my mom’s going into surgery lol
Yoongi will be fine soon because of his surgery, his recovering.
Just had this surgery yesterday. Incredibly interesting to watch!
Beautiful work. Marine combat veteran here wishing the VA did as great work
Came here after hearing about Yoongi surgery, seeing this video breaks my heart, thinking how he had undergone this surgery. Get well soon Yoongi 💜 ur health matters most. Sending all love and support and our prayers are with u.Stay Strong and take care.fighting!
YOONGI IS SO STRONG WOW praying for his fast recovery we love you min yoongiiii!!! armys and bangtan will be by your side forever...
I used to watch this as a kid because i was interested in the medical field. Revisiting this after a shoulder injury (torn labrum and torn rotator cuff) i’m NERVOUS.
How'd it go?? I have a grade V SLAP tear (fully torn off), full thickness rotator cuff tear & also need a distal claviclectomy. 😳 I'm nervous too. Surgery in 3 days. 🙏
@@lovehealthgratitude still waiting. Work comp is the WORST. Your case sounds absolutely miserable though hoping for the best for you
Bro, I hear you. Torn posterior labrum for me, with surgery on the 26th of this month. Getting pretty nervous
@@markevans7937 finally had mine last week. Its alright pain wise. Its the dependence that’s the worst
@jyoung6366 I believe it, because I don't trust hardly anyone and utterly despise needing someone to help me with anything.
Get well soon Yoongi! 💜
ㅠㅠlooking at this to know what yoongi went throughㅠㅠ i hope the rehabilitation goes smoothlyㅠㅠ
Omg Get well soon Suga 😭
yoongi got this surgery :( i hope he'll be okay, i love you yoongi
Didn’t know I had a labrum tear in both my shoulders til after 4 years, now I have to get this procedure done on both my shoulders. Great 😀
How you find out you had it and did you not notice any limited movement or pain
@@vincentliang3342 You should go to a primary doctor, talk to them about your symptoms, pain, etc. Most likely they will refer you to a orthopedic specialist then the specialist will evaluate you and talk to you about the body part, symptoms and your pain if you have anything. Then take further precautions if needed such as like a MRI arthrogram and then you wait for your results. Pretty much what happened to me and the steps i took, later found out i have a labrum tear in my left shoulder. So now I have surgery january 28th 👍🏽
@@naomidaniel8177 I got labrum surgery 17 days ago I was just curious I had full range motion just shoulder instability during physical sports

I just got this done. Very interesting seeing the step-by-step.

i had an arthroscopic labral repair like this about a month ago and still in quite a bit of pain. i was wondering if it was cause for concern until i saw this video... that pain aint gonna subside for a while!
I had this done on my hip in November. Its really cool to see what this looks like.
What's the condition now?
I want to ask as i might have to go through this for my shoulder in the coming month
@@IRONMANANISHI just got my shoulder labrum surgery 2 weeks ago. You will be in a sling for 6 weeks after the surgery so be prepared. The first 3 days were the worst in terms of pain. I was only on painkillers the first 2 days after surgery. I have been getting physical therapy that started this week and I will get it for the next 6 weeks. My sling will come off March 15th. Hope this helps a little. You’ll be fine I would suggest get the surgery if you need it
@@mikegraham9095I’m boutta get surgery soon. Do you lift or play sports by bchance? I hope in the long run post surgery that lifting won’t be a problem for me.

My son just had this surgery less then a week ago. A football injury. The footage is amazing. How long will it take for him to be functional ( like returning back to school)?
how was his recovery period and how long? if you don't mind me asking?🙂
@@mayrachavez8677 My son has rehab and therapy for twice a week for 7 months. Because of covid his progress slowed up some in college. He's doing ok but you obviously have to work on your own as well as with a therapist. So 7 months should be ok

Damn, I may have to go through this surgery.... One month of rest is the biggest problem...
How did it go? Do you feel pain or are you fully recovered? I would appreciate your answer as I will have my shoulder surgery soon.
@@eric.fontana I must say I did not get surgery because I could not make time for it. Working as a medical doctor in Korea means sacrificing many things... And for me, I had two MRI tests at a different hospital. With a 3T MRI ( T is a kind of version of the machine, a bigger number means a better machine.) I found complex problems on my shoulder ( small SLAP, impingement syndrome with a minimal tear on my superior muscle, and adhesive capsulitis ).
And... I would say(On average) at least 2 weeks of pain and 1 month of movement problem of your shoulder, and 3 months of re-habilitation... I hope you get well ^^ good luck!
My situation is same as yours.i got slap, bankart, supraspinatus tear,my shoulder is so instable.
I play HighSchool football and I got injured and got this surgery a month ago, and I’m kind of mind blown that they did this to me🤯🥴😂
how was your recovery period and how long? if you don't mind me asking🙂
@@mayrachavez8677 this comment didn’t age well to be honest lol. I ended up having the same exact surgery on my other shoulder and I don’t play football anymore because of these surgeries... It was a bit rough on both shoulders not gonna lie, the pain was pretty bad for a week or two but it eventually eased slowly and had to wear the sling for about 2-3 months.... now that it’s been a year for the 1st surgery and nearly a year for the 2nd surgery I will tell you my shoulders will probably never be the same but if you do your therapy and strengthen them slowly after surgery it helps a lot.
If you have any other questions I’ll be more than happy to help.
I can't imagine what it must have been like.. You might think I'm superficial or something but if you didn't notice already most of the comments here are about a guy named Suga/Yoongi. He's a k-pop artist who was in an accident like 8 years ago and recently had this surgery. The company said he's recovering and is expected for him to come back soon after therapy for his promotions, tours, etc. but from what I've seen it scares me that he won't be able to perform again like he used too. (He's a rapper and dancer and a very important member in k-pop group BTS) He such an amazing person and so talented.. I'd hate to seem him have to give up something so important in his life.
@@ddoyle54 Thank you so much for sharing and answering my question.. I really hope you continue to recover 🙏 and that someday you can do all normal activities like you once did. Keep going and God bless!💛

Aaaahhhhh YOONGI- 😭😭😭
Tomorrow is my arthroscopy surgery 😅
Is this what Suga; a singer and dancer from the Korean boyband, BTS; had 2 go through? I heard he had shoulder surgery about a month and a half ago and decided 2 look it up. I read that he had a posterior labral tear surgery.
Yep, looks so painful. Glad to see how well he is now.
I have range of motion but I feel discomfort and pain when benching. It’s not terrible but I feel the instability. What are the risks of no surgery
Constant Pain and Over time rotator cuff damage do not barbell bench dumbell is better if you have labrum tear
do those strings stay wtf?

Does this procedure technique have a name to it?
Bankart repair I believe.
I got one on the left and on the right. anyway PT can get someone out of pain and back to sports like weight lifting with out the surgery? what is the chances for the average case? mine are both 6 to 10 o clock, but my Doctor said my shoulders are pretty stable. I am in pain though. everyday and just started PT three weeks ago.
I am having a tear from 10-11 O Clock.
Hey how are you know ? 😁
I think most say a real tear can't be healed without surgery. Did you end up getting the surgery? How are things now?

Yoongi? He is a rapper producer singer and dancer from a boy band group 💜ᗷTS⟭⟬💜 from🇰🇷 korea..
just had this surgery for the 2nd time
how is it?
.
I'm going in for my right shoulder (dominant arm) soon. I had my left shoulder operated years ago. It's not the worst surgery. Sleeping was annoying for a few weeks because you can't lay flat or on your sides. You have to have a pillow under your shoulders to sleep at an angle. The pills help you sleep but you'll wake up once they wear off. With any surgery, I try to only use pain pills when needed. If the instructions say every 4 to 6 hours, I try to stick to 6 hours so I don't before dependent on them. I was up and chilling with my sling on and acting normal the same day I had my surgery. When I had my back surgery, I was in bed for weeks just sleeping most of the day and on strong meds. It was way worse than a shoulder surgery
how long did it take you to fully recover?
I got a serious back problem and now I get a shoulder problem too..good luck guy you will go well.
wheres the blood???
just had this surgery...
Heavy lifting with bad form may cause injury.
How's your recovery going so far?
Not particularly satisfied. I am not doing extensive PT. My ROM is still bad, and still can't use my arm properly due to weakness and pain but the doc says its normal.
@@bakioztepe Strange. I'm assuming you got surgery 3 months ago. You should have started PT by now. Did you have the labrum tear just on one shoulder? I have tears on both and I regularly experience posterior dislocation :(
PT was prescribed to me from day 1. I am neglecting PT because there needs to be somebody facilitating the PT. Instead I am trying to use my arm for small tasks, without putting much strain on my shoulder. I am also doing finger craws on the wall, which I believe is helpful for my case.
Sorry to hear that btw. These labrum tears do not heal on their own. Get those looked at. Also I do not recommend having a double surgery. You would be 100% disabled. You must have one arm to pull your pants up ;)
I had this done in 2007. Turns out that when you dislocate your shoulder numerous times during wrestling matches, but can rotate your arm and it goes back into place, Thats a bad thing.
I've been told I need this done recently. I've dislocated mine about 6 times over the years and always managed to put it back in. Was it a bad surgery and will shoulder/arm return to the way it was before the damage?
يونقي 😭😭😭
Army watch this video for suga
Whats up with that damn music? worst thing while trying to listen
I’m having this surgery in a couple weeks. I am so nervous.
How was it?
giggityeffyou The surgery itself went well, it took about two hours. I’m not going to lie, the first week and a half or so of recovery absolutely sucked. I do well with pain generally, and couldn’t believe how much pain I was in, even with using my ice machine and pain medicine. I’m 7 weeks post op now, and feeling good!
how long did it take you to fully recover and do the same activites like you did before?
@@siksua I can’t say I’m fully recovered yet, I’m still in physical therapy and my range of motion still isn’t great. I’m just a little over 3 months post op
@@squeakyboo i hope its healing fast, you are so strong!!!

I was in a near fatal motocross accident 39 years ago. One year ago I finally had 3 vertebrae fused in my neck. I have been strength training my body and especially my left shoulder ever since the accident. I have a torn rotator, my bicep is torn at the shoulder, a torn labrum, a cyst the size of my little finger, quadrilateral space syndrome and nerve damage in my elbow which rendered my hand numb. Obviously having been a laborer and bricklayer for 30 years didn't do anything to fix almost having my arm ripped off in that accident. Why do the medical professionals and insurance companies insist on doing therapy for such things knowing full well it does absolutely nothing to actually fix the problems? I even did the mandatory therapy insisted by my insurance company on my shoulder 3 times. Didn't do anything except maybe make it worse.
You’ll never feel the same but it’s tolerable
Who tf is Yoongi?????😕

he’s a rapper, he got this surgery done about a year ago
