@@00lewisd1 I let go of the Ambu bag device for now .. and am working on another concept which has a reciprocating compressor system ... I live in a small town ..so things are slow ... and right now broke LOL ...so only some 10% of the new design is printed ...hopefully in two to three weeks I should get a semblance of the final prototype .. keeping fingers crossed!!
The motor isn't the limit on tidal volume, it can easily push the bag all the way. The design of the size of the 'fingers' pressing on the bag has more of an effect on volume. I think I managed about 1.2L before I limited it to 800ml
Darren Lewis thanks for the reply. I’ve read the MIT’s e vent design that, pushing the AMBU bag on single side can be resulted in decrease in life of the bag. They are saying it’s better to give push in both sides. Your design is great and minimalist by the way.. 👌👌👌
Dear Darren Lewis, Thank ur project. I got an error: 'getCurrentM1' was not declared in this scope int current = getCurrentM1(); do u mean: int current = 0; ??? Please help me.
I think you need to add my "analogue filtering" code as another tab in your main code. If you put all the arduino files together in a folder then double click the main file it should automatically add the other arduino files as other tabs
Darren Lewis MPX4250DP 0 250kPa Differential Pressure Sensor Can i use this differential sensor for pressure and flow rate instead of you used in ur ventilator bcoz in my country this one is available right now
Good work, this helps understanding of medical problem too.
Absolutely nice. I should know ... i too am working on one!!!
Neville Rodrigues I am interested to see your design

Congratulations. Great job.
Great Darren 🌹
Keep up good work darren bro
It’s amazing sir..!! Can you please tell me how you measure the tidel volume that is delivering by this bag at a perticular time
tidal volume can be caluclated by integrating flow rate over time. My Arduino code is available via the Instructables link
@@00lewisd1 Thank you so much for replying ❤️
Can I use BMP280 for differential pressure measuring?
Hi... what is the maximum volume that can be delivered by the DC motor you selected? Thanks

Hi, what engine do you use?
Dear Darren Lewis,
Thank ur project.

Great
Can i use the MPX4250DP 0 250kPa Differential Pressure Sensor instead of using this MPX5010DP Pressure Sensor for flow and pressure
I have replied to this comment on Insructables
Darren Lewis thank you for quick response
Hello, what is the torque rating of the motor, is it a servo, do you have the code for SMIV function? Your source for the motor? Thank you very much.
What is the material for the outer shell?
8mm acrylic in this test rig. Check the instructables link for full design details
Why you are only connected the pressure one tube where is othe tube of sensor and or you cut one tube pressure sensor
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Sorry, can you rephrase?
Darren Lewis i have posted the on instructable
Superb dude
I want to know some more details in it!
I have added design details to the description.
