While I completely agree with the points that Pastor Landon makes in this teaching, the "heart" in ancient Hebrew thought wasn't just about emotions, but primarily about conscious thought and only secondarily about emotions and motives. When scripture talks about writing the Law on our hearts, circumcising our hearts, keeping something in our hearts, etc., it's talking about what we would call our minds. In other words, meditate on it, consider it in every decision, and make it a part of who you are.
