Spoiler alert - 24:00 - similar QxR with a running pawn happened few days ago in a Titled Tuesday game of Magnus Carlsen against Kacper Piorun (Poland)
@@followyourpassion8378 watched it yesterday at Epic Chess channel - guy with manchester accent - i'm not sure if that runaway pawn happened on the board or only was a variation to consider but the rook sac tactic is always nice to imagine :)
Montrealol 68k :) - only around 1:11 i realized your playing like Mefisto on two mefistos - first i thought you are looking for differences between two levels of play eg 3rd and 4th
You are right, it is confusing with the two boards, I actually had wanted to put in textboxes "White pieces" and "Black pieces" on the first two pictures of the machines, but couldn't make it work. I recorded it like that, because I wanted to show both computer displays in the Lang vs. Schröder match. Of course, the Roma program (Lang) runs on 16bit with a 64k ROM/ 16k RAM, while the MM V (Schröder) has 8bit and 32k/8k. But Roma is a couple of years older than MM V and processing power is actually comparable, being Roma on a 68000 with 12MHz and MM V on a 65C02 with (almost) 5MHz.
@@followyourpassion8378 Thank you for detailed explanation - i am not much into the engine boards of that or todays era (except that spanish scam of moving pieces) but some time in life i found info about how todays DGT took over the unpatented standard of some other company digital board recognition of 6 different pieces (LC circuits)
I have the Exlusive with MMV module too. Unfortunately there is something wrong and the power will shut off during playing. I'm looking for someone who can repare that.
Sorry to hear that. Maybe you could ask for some pointers regarding how to fix the problem here: sites.google.com/view/berger-projects www.elektroschach.de/contents/de/about.html It would be interesting to know, if it is the power adaptor, the board or the modules that cause the problem. Did you try a different ac adaptor yet? And did you check the modules in a different board (exclusive/modular)?
