Toyota Starlet Hayabusa Engine Removal

Today ‪@omd_sd‬ and I take the Hayabusa engine out of his 1981 Toyota Starlet KP61 This was actually his very first car when he was 16 and a few years ago he had the awesome idea to turn it into a race car for hill climb events. To do that, they have swapped in a stock GSXR1300 engine that makes right around 200 horsepower with plans in the future to turbo it. Since the car weighs about nothing it should absolutely fly! But before it does all of that the engine has to come out so we can paint the engine bay and make a couple small repairs. I hope you join us on this fun day of wrenching! Thanks for watching!
