Im about halfway through the video by the time I'm making this comment so I don't know if you figured out the cage puzzle by the end but I'm pretty sure it means 3 when mentioning the gongs. "As many as the gongs of sound". So something to do with 3 is my guess. Not ringing them in a particular order. As for the rest I have no idea. Haven't played the game.
