They keep nerfing Storm powers in cinema. I remember when I was growing up in the 90's, they said Storm still doesn't know all her powers. But she can most likely control planets and space.
I really liked how they handled Oatu's 'fall from grace' and how he felt it was the natural progression that The Watchers should take. Before he took the oath, when he asked the purpose of simply watching, and was told that each Watcher must discover that for themselves, that helped him convince the Eminence that he also needed to discover what Oatu had already learned.
Personally, Byrdie and Kahorie were the best things to come out of the last 2 seasons. tho, now that I think about it, Byrdie's origin story started in Viva, Thor Vegas. ( I know.. it's MY title for What If… Thor Were an Only Child ).

I like this series overall just in that is is fun to watch. I took stock of how specific episodes are either liked or dismissed and I think just comes to the genre bending and either being the target demographic or not. I have ones that are my flavor or are not. That season just happened to key into some specific personal things for me so I was able to be immersed overall. But it's a buffet table to put it one way. Really it's an a fishing expedition to find an audience for these ideas that were otherwise shot down by investors. Zombie obviously proved itself. Else promotion for upcoming releases which might be the only turn off this show had for me since I would think about that and lose track of the story in the process (Ironheart, Shang-Chi sequel, so on). And there are some missteps which I blame on runtime limitations. This for example should have three or four episodes and the climax proves this where during the big fight we did not closure nor dialogue at all for most of these characters aside Carter at the end. Nor most characters aside Infinity Ultron and X Strange from previous chapters. One or two more episodes or an extended finale would resolved this by them being able to include time for all those characters as working parts of this plot and cover their focal closure points. But I can see the runtime of course and know how all this works. The Watcher metaphor has always been interesting to me since it is the mote of this story yet seems little talk about it. I don't mean Uatu apparently being a Golden Gloves boxer either. It's us. We are The Watchers. And we have this viewer here who is the Continuity Police. This story is not allowed to deviate and if it does the author has committed cardinal sin. But then we have this other viewer represented by Uatu whom is the fan that loves these characters however minor and does not want to see them expire despite the story structure calling for it. This viewer wants to be appeased by the writer aka One Above All in this case and for them to derail the story in order to give this character a reprieve and allow them the chance to become more. Meanwhile on IMBD and chan... So that's a really great concept. Very The NeverEnding Story. And Marvel less often exploits The Watchers in that way and they are more often backdrop. So I like that they choose to go this route and unpack all that. So I am not with the critics of this show then. I am the Uatu (I used to have a doll of him but donated it to a welfare home) to their Eminence. And that's the fascinating part of it.
If you notice on Disney Plus, the show is listed the "season finale", not the series finale. If this was truly the final episode of What If it would have been listed as the series finale. I think we get more shows in a few years.
I don't know.... I thought Infinity Ultron was greatly nerfed in the final episode.... Also I thought Storm was too talkative, going on and on about nature and so on... And unlike the other 2 seasons, there was no connection to some of the other episodes, especially the first 3 episodes... We somehow end up with different characters in the final episode... I liked how the final episodes of Season 1 and 2 brought characters introduced in the preceding episodes to do the final battle, this wasn't the case with Season 3... Celestials, Watchers, every other universal cosmic being cannot compete against the infinity stones. Having Watchers defeat Infinity Ultron is just a laughing stock to the comics and stupid. The only thing stronger than the infinity stones is someone that is a multiversal cosmic being and is stronger than one simple universe. Like the Living Tribunal who handles multiple universes, Beyonders who are universes into themselves, etc. Thanos wiped out all entities that tried to stop him, all celestials, because none of them were as powerful as the infinity stones. Sadly they have to dumb down the infinity stones powers in order to actually make a story of some sort.
In 10 years when I look back and see THIS as the LAST season of “what if” in history I’m going to be embarrassed and highly disappointed on the variety of stories they missed out on because they recycled the same characters
Infinity ultron was able to defeat uatu the watcher 1vs 1 ,who was then effortlessly defeated by the emminess singlehandedly. Yet somehow the same watcher sharing his powers with our heroes was able to defeat 3 watchers with eons of experience and knowledge and somehow am suppose to find this believable😅 do the people who make these shows think the viewers are idiots or what ,at least make it a bit believable.

Ultron didn't beat uatu, uatu was not fighting back hence not breaking his oath. He said that severally in season 1
