    Thanks for the review oracles of the internet! I´ve got two questions: Which is best in beachbreak and smaller weaker waves? and secondly, how are they vs the CI M23? Glide, speed, manoeuvrability and wave type/size? Do more battles of the boards!

      Both are fantastic boards which will work in well beachbreaks /smaller surf. both paddle extremely well which offer effortless glide and wave entry. The 69er will be more maneuverable off the back foot where the Smooth Operator will be more cruisy , think exaggerated turning lines. The M23 is also a solid contender, great performance hybrid board, still great in smaller surf but this is best suited to larger faces. It can be your daily board which will happily surf the average conditions you get but will also be a board you can have loads of fun when the conditions are a little better! if you want a full breakdown give us an email at info@boardshop.co.uk

    This is the exact video I was looking for after deliberating over these exact boards for some time. Smooth operator still wins on aesthetic style point in my eyes, maybe I’m just a hipster. But thanks guys 🤙🏼

    What would be the best fin set up youve tried in the EVO? Isnt it too stiff as a quad?
    Thanks for the video !!

    How big waves can you surf with such boards? Double overhead? Are they comparable to the FireWire Hydronaut?

    Hey there guys, I just got a 69-er Evo in a 6'6. Was thinking of running her as a Twin +1. Any recommendations on what type of fin set up works well? PS I have a bunch of quads and thrusters laying around so will try those first if I want to give another fin set up a go. Looking forward to your response!

    Your lifetime quiver isn't complete until you've had a Pukas. The only board to have in the Basque country.

    Cool concept (BoB). To be honest, I didn't know the 69-er came in a mid-length too! As for Pukas Mid-lengths... how would the 69er EVO stack up against the Ladytwin? I have the Ladytwin in a 7'4" and find it a blast! Holds a line in solid surf really, really well and and still turns decently.

      Stoked you like it! The 69er EVO is a very different model, great to pair together. The Lady Twin with channels and the twin fin set up is great in certain waves. The 69er EVO is more versatile!

      @paintingsofwaves_mikewoning Год назад

      @@BoardshopUK I would say that the Lady Twin is great in clean but solid waves, not so much a board that grovels well. Gret flow though. Agree?
      That said, you feel the EVO is more versatile? Interesting... I'm currently fantasizing of swapping the Lady Twin for something with a bit less volume. Although I love how it surfs in good waves, it is a bit bulky for me to duck dive. Especially in bigger waves, I'd like to get a bit deeper under the wave so was thinking of something with a bit less float. Maybe just a LT in 7'0 instead of 7'4. But EVO could be an option also. What would you suggest?

    How do they compare to the Firewire Helium Dominator 2.0?

      Nothing like the Dominator 2.0 - Different boards in almost every way possible.

      Oh boy. I love both! SO is a touch more cruisey. Mid6 is maybe the best performance mid length out there.
