Burton Cummings is just great and you can tell how thrilled he is to be singing with his idol Don Everly. As for Don…what can you say - he’s fabulous, incomparable… and downright sexy.❤
Recorded at CHCH-TV in Hamilton, Ontario Canada on Nov 14, 1983. Episode One of the first season of "In Session". I was the recording engineer on this series. That's my left hand on the faders in the control room shots. LOL!
Awesome pairing. As I recall at the beginning of this program, Burton mentioned that he was so happy to be performing with one of his boyhood singing idols, in Don Everly. Thanks for these clips!
"i like that do that again, I think Cummings would've done a cartwheel if Don had asked him, Burton clearly very pleased to be dueting with one of his idols.
So true, so true! Thanks, AGJ. I would never have found this. Don seems so alone without Phil. So sad. I was thinking today just how much their exquisite harmony was the Everly Brothers. Love them. Thanks, Bob Loblaws. *****.
Thank you for posting this gem! No Phil here, and they sound very good together, but when one listens, it makes us truly realize the genius of the EB sound... Thank you again!
WOW WOW WOW, this is sooooo cool, i didn't even know it existed. Thank you so much for posting Bob. This has made my day, a new video to me, Don is so relaxed and having fun. Excellent posting :)
Of all the videos, without Phil’s harmony, this one is the least forced trying to sound like Phil. Burton has a pretty mellow blending voice. Too many try to sound like Phil & fall short. Only one Phil & Don!🌼

Burton Cummings - one of the most under rated singer/songwriters ever.
Oh my goodness! I love this so much!
RIP Don, thank you for all the music.

I saw the show and loved it! Of course, I also love Burton and his voice and he isn't hard to look at either.
These had to be after the Royal Albert Hall Reunion? They are great!
He's an excellent singer/Songwriter/musician, and he is quite yummy to look at!

Any set that includes “So Sad” - my favorite Don Everly song - works for me. Such a great video. Don and Burton are obviously enjoying themselves.
Schöne Stimme hat Don😊

TRUE PROFESSIONIALS
This is great!
It is not the same without his brother although I enjoyed it very much because I do love him too
Been looking for this for a long, long time. Thanks very much for sharing this rare gem. A perfect melding of two huge talents!
Former Guess Who drummer (Garry Peterson) and guitarist (Domenic Troiano), and I think, Ian Gardener, bassist for BC's solo band for many years.

Anoter Great song Guys.GARY V.
Is that Bob Carol-Gees?
Liverpool UK
Is that former (and the late) Guess Who member Domenic Troiano in the background performing?!
Yup.
