People complain about badge engineering, but the fact that these share so many basic components with other GMT-800 trucks is why they're so easy to keep on the road. I have an 03 Yukon Denali, and I absolutely adore it. The 6.0 AWD plus the BFG rugged terrain T/A tires make for incredible performance and handling for a big truck. I only wish there was a way to get them with the 4L80.

I love these Escalades too. This and the 2001-2006 GMC Yukon Denali, have been my favorite SUVs since I was a kid. I like the 1999-2000 Denali and Escalade, but these models definitely take the cake for me lol. And Oohh yes that’s true! I’d love to see the video on a 2004-2011 Cadillac STS. I used to own a 2007 STS all black exterior and interior (black leather seats, black rims and etc) and ever since then I have loved those cars lol. Now a days I want to get a 2008-2011 STS with the 4.6 Northstar. That’s when they gave them a small facelift( they updated the front bumper, grille, rear bumper, in the interior they updated the center console and radio area, they mixed the wood grain with a brushed Steele/aluminum material). I keep looking for one, but they’re hard to find in good condition and that don’t cost an arm and a leg lol. Maybe one of these days I’ll find one. I currently own a 2002 Yukon Denali. It needs some TLC so it can be in great condition, but other than that she’s a good old gal, she has 128k miles. Which people tell me that’s decently low for the age. I’ve been looking for a 2003-2006 Yukon Denali, but they’re hard to find in decent shape, and if you do find one, they’re selling them at high prices, for example there is one for sell near by and it’s a 2004 Yukon Denali w/ 180k miles. No rips, just normal wear and tear on the leather seats and they’re selling it for almost $9k. Like wtf! Lol

I remember when this first came out and I thought GM had another loser on its hand. The big headlights looked goofy and aside from some extra badging and cladding you could clearly tell it was a Tahoe. Boy was I surprised when rappers ate it up and turned it into a cash cow for GM.

  • @pfwww12

Yeah the black hiphop culture definitely propelled the Escalade. Look at the all the current commercials. All lead by leading black actors and actress to further push the brand....but you can't lie though. It looks better when a wealthy black man owns it lol

My biggest question is why this generation of Escalade was the last one to have comfortable plush seats. The next one wasnt, and The 2019 I sat in was hard like a brick, total trash. This gen was luxury

Welcome to the new Chevy Tahoe Yukon Denali Escalade Suburban borrowed money pit. Here in Arlington our focus is on Quantity over Quality. Clearly we have no reservations about lying through our piranha teeth by making false statements and erroneous claims like, "the MOST powerful SUV in the world."
    Oh GM...... You never learn.

Some people did afford that truck. Some people actually saved money and bought whatever. actually worked honest jobs with overtime. Check after check no excuses plus home mortgage. So yeah escalades ain't far from a hardworking person. Work : business, labor, service, what ever you do. Just get money which a lot of people rather not. Not just escalades anything you want go get. Some people work 2 jobs. And you know it. Some don't want to work part time. So there goes my view on who can get a 2022 escalade
