Hella close. I actually find this to be onpar with the original, because it has all these little nuances that aren't in the original that just kinda.. *establish* that it is a separate thing. Ironically, it *works.* The reverb on the lead, the slight rhythm changes, it's all really refreshing.

you Nailed the Best Part! 2:16 if you're trying to copy it.. it's so close!! the only thing was there was some notes missing like 1:45.. just some good parts, some notes.. if i would rate your version, you're 95% close to the original! just a little more. just put the missing notes and you're done!

I don't how you made this, but this is awesome! I never know how to get the sound-design right. Do you just hear what kind of soundwave it is or what effects to put on the sound. Any tips would be super helpful!
Just comes with time I suppose. After a while you start to figure out what filters, effects, envelopes etc. there are in certain sounds. Knowing the wave shape is the first step for sure, but there's quite a bit more to manipulating the basic shape to get the sound you're looking for.

I try to make my own music but I have a real lack of creativity :( either that or I make a small section of a song and I don't know how to finish it. I'm really trying though. These remakes are really just exercises to help me buildup the workflow I need to be able to put down the ideas in my head faster and easier before I lose the idea. Also I've only been producing for little over a year and I still have a lot to learn when it comes to music theory and song arrangement. Like what makes a song catchy and not boring. that kinda stuff. But The next thing release on this channel is going to be an original for sure :D
A lot of producers actually don't have any knowledge in music theory but if I were you I'd probably do the same so I can make very good and unique music. I've been watching Curtis King a lot now (You should check him out he usually makes rap beats but he has amazing tips for every genre of songs) and he gave a tip about work flow and ideas and he said that "Don't force yourself to finish the song if you're workflow has been all messed up or you ran out of ideas just try it tomorrow and it will eventually snap" and I really believe that would work so, yeah. Just giving out someones advice since you have a good future of becoming a producer.
I downloaded the FLP so I could study it and I noticed all the little things you did; like incorporating sound design onto the kicks even to make them sound exactly like the original; did you wing stuff like that or do you genuinely just know how all that works on a whim lol, I new to EDM (Interested in Kawaii Future Bass) and honestly I don't know where to start
It's honestly a mix of both. Maybe like 70/30 split. 70% knowing how sound design works and how to manipulate sounds to what I want. But the 30% is parts I don't fully understand and just kind of wing it. Like compression for example. I don't really fully grasp how to get the sound I want using compression. I kind of just tweak the knobs until it sounds about right. But I'm always up for giving people pointers if you want to add me on discord. I can give you some ideas on where to start and answer any questions you have about specific things :) It's Castin#7718

I wasn't totally back to normal until right after summer, but even still It's been hard for me to have any real motivation. However, I have an original track I've been working on for a few months that I'm just wrapping up and I have a new remake in the works as well. They should be out really soon! Hi, I downloaded the FLP and it seems like some sections e.g. pattern 5 don't make any noise even though they aren't muted. Can you explain why?
I think it's because I'm missing serum, which costs 200 bucks. Sucks :(
