They’d (popos ) would come onto small sites , and sit round the fire , ‘have you got any heroin ?’ Ffs , they really didn’t have a clue , I think those really old propaganda pieces , were born from fear , people were still speaking proper BBC on the telly(not a northern accent in site) , and we didn’t fit so they had to create a conspiracy . I went with my mate Ian. Was bloody starving. The only food we could find was an old hippie selling doughnuts who shut shop because we were ' hassling him man'. Ian got mistaken for a copper. It was very cold. Pleasant vibe though. Castle Morton was better.
