Nice video. I plan to head up there eventually. We're from KY but My son is moving up to Traverse City up farther north from there but gives me more of an excuse to finally get to Silver Lakes.
Side note, seen you also have the OEM steel bumper with that had the hole built in for flag pole attachment. What attachment do you have? I need to get one and a flag soon.
Hey there! We get up to Silver Lake about once a year. There are a couple stores right next to the entrance that sell the flags and mounts you’ll need. I just picked up a cheap one from there. You will need your ORV license as well. Have fun!

Yeah, the top of test Hill was relatively flat this year. I prefer it that way.
@Trail Expedition so do I I hate having to slow down to much to get stuck as you crest the tip of the hill
That’s always the worst. I once crested it in my JK going to fast when it was not flat on the top. Definitely got wheels off the ground 😆
@@TrailExpedition nice yeah I got stuck a time or 2 in my 2500 because of it being long and peaked at the top and just turtled itself on top

It was like having a 2.5 ton puppy! My Mo(jave)-chine just loved jumping on the sand drifts... I brought my ex with me (still finding opportunities to get her and the kids together from time to time) and she thought she didn't have to buckle her seat belt! OK, there's a reason she's been exed- perhaps more than one. Next time we were out on a trail and she panicked. That was all for her.

Right on. It would have been cool to see the entire thing but other obligations took precedence. Next year hopefully can do the entire weekend.
