$40 Amazon Muffler Install on ATV

- I modded the factory muffler on my Kawasaki Prairie 300 a while back trying to make the quad louder. Although I achieved making it louder it also made it sound very raspy and annoying. I came across this

$40 slip on muffler. There were a couple videos on it and pretty good reviews so I figured I’d try it out. I recommend you do to. This thing sounds awesome for the money! Almost like a FMF Powercore muffler. LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE!

new exhaust actually was way more annoying lol. Sounded good but louder all around and way thumpier than stock.

Honestly I have no idea. It’s unmarked and it was on it when I got the wheeler.

So it was a bolt on application and everything fit or did you have to use and clamps or anything?
If you watch the entire video, I had to weld the pipe adapter on. And spring brackets.

It will fit about anything. It’s just wether or not you can make it fit.

Not sure, but I wouldn’t have it touching plastics. Could alway use reflective heat tape on the plastics your worried about.

No, It’s straight through.

What are the tiny springs used for
It’s a slip on design. The muffler slips on then you use the springs to hold it in place. The spring brackets have to be welded on.
Or you can just weld the muffler on.
Did you just cut off the stock exhaust
Stock had a slip joint.

Couple of reasons,
1. It’s a very tight area and you wouldn’t have been able to see what I was doing.
2. It’s pretty self explanatory, just need a welder.
Pretty much yes. I mean you may be able to figure out how to do it without one or if you already have a slip on pipe your replacing. You have to weld the spring mounts on at a minimum.
I purchased one for my arctic cat 400. And I return it. I found it way too loud to the point where I was worried about the back pressure blown the engine. It’s pretty much a glass pack so if that’s what you’re looking for just remove your muffler and just straight pipe it you’ll get the same sound and the same effect free free.
