Can you set the Action 4 shutter speed higher (e.g. to rid the blur)? The GoPro had minimal blur and made crisp frames, I could see the tire treads in the dirt clearly. The Action did not have as crisp a picture, the tire tread tracks in the dirt were more blurry. But if the shutter speed could be set as "priority" or a range or a fixed minimum (1/2400 or above) I believe the tire tracks would have been just as sharp. So what can the Action be set to? If you have a BRIGHT sunny day, and if the Action allows control of shutter speed (and then set it high enough), and if the ISO can be auto, I bet the freeze frame could be crystal clear? I was a bit disappointed that the GoPro so easily beat the Action 4. I have many DJI and GoPro and have always found DJI to make crystal clear frames compared to GoPro (however most of my DJI are gimbal cameras (Pocket, drones) I do have an old Action that also produces crystal clear frames, so I would think the Action 4 should do better than my older Action, so I would love to see your Action 4 tested again with a higher shutter speed. Anyway, that was fun, thanks.
You can set the shutter speed. I also had the sharpness at -1, and noise reduction to +1. I am going to do a lot more testing with the A4. I'm sure I can get it much closer to the GoPro image.

Both solid footy for sure.
They're both great.
Thanks for posting the settings..Ill try it on my 11. I prefer the GoPro but not an audio/videophile by any means
Both are great.
