I’m a noob to skating but by the looks of all these types of skaters, they overall impress me greatly. Like, heavy set dudes cruising on a flimsy piece of wood? That’s mad impressive imo. People going down the hills? They’re nailing a seriously death induced trip going down those hills so it seems crazy that they can even be alright after all of that. Even the ig thirst trap chicks. Skating in heels? That’s insane lol.

Just skate man. As long as we’re following a common sense form of etiquette and respect for others, it’s all good. I don’t think that this list is necessarily the 10 worst. Rather different human beings interacting at the park and enjoying their passion for skateboarding. That being said, I was very impressed with some of the big dudes at my local park. It’s amazing to watch these guys do some of the things they do on a board. It seems contrary to physics, but they really do some impressive stuff.

The "broke skater" is the godfather of skating. So, just do you, and worry about your own skating. There's more than enough there to be concerned with.

That is dumb that the girl skater would get more attention because she’s attractive but people shouldn’t worry about getting attention for skating. Skating is for plain and simple fun, whether you just cruise or can do almost any trick.

I spent 8 hours one afternoon attempting a standing Ollie.
When I finally got it, it was stupid high and the board stuck to my feet almost.
Luckily people were watching and were amazed at how well I did it.
Never been able to do it since.
If you try something enough times, sometimes you accidentally do it right.
My dad actually used to be a hill skater!
In his hometown he found this really steep hill and him and his freinds called it "The Hill Of Death" coz he nearly died going down it. He even outran a car!

Its funny seeing Aaron Kyro in the healthy section of the video, been watching a ton of Braille skating and at 40 years old you kinda don't have the choice of not being a healthy skater, shit just doesn't work like it used to but AK is also just learning Vert in the last couple years and still pushing boundaries, dude loves to skate and wants to see the whole world on a board.
I’ll be honest, I kinda thought skating was a poorer sport compared to all the others mostly since I grew up kinda poor but always loved skating even though I still can’t do any tricks but I really always thought broke skaters made up the whole skating community and I really do love it and seems to make me feel at home

i am personally a heavy skater and it is very expensive and scary when im working on street parks especially after flip tricks and grinding

At my home skatepark, there are some dudes that are so broke, they can’t even afford a car, but they buy themself new decks every week
Decks are a way cheaper investment than a whole car

The only one I could think of, that you might have forgotten is the hater. The guy who always call people out for having the wrong brand of bearings or not doing a high enough ollie to be a "real skater". Throwing tantrums if someone is wearing a Trasher hoodie, or owning a fingerboard

I might not be the best skater but I am pretty much a skateboard hippie I might be cheap but I try to get a good to great board I used to be a down hill skater glad I was wearing leather when I went down on the pavement

I remember when there was a heavy skater at my local park, on a quarter pipe he attempted to fly out on an old school board and underestimated, long story short I looked at him once, he was upsidedown in the air
You forgot once great skaters turned artist or company owner, who still skate ocassionally. We never were posers, but well respected. There's plenty of us who did very well in our prime during the 1980s and 1990s who still skate when we can outside of our current careers.

I have to stretch before i skate bc my ankle likes to cramp up for hours days or weeks so yeah any tips ?
I personally live in panama, where there are only 3 skate parks in the whole capital, so each one of them has their kind, there is the one in the rich side of town filled with spoiled kids and scooter children and parent treating it like a daycare, (and it also charges 20$ an hour for a pump track), there is one in the more sketchy side of town, Wich is way better and more fun but isn't as famous, and then there is a tiny half pipe in a random park

Back when I was in High School we also had what I call the thug skaters. They would dress more gangsta, could be found at city skate parks selling drugs to other skaters and would even bully the younger skaters into handing over their shoes and skateboards.
You forgot the kickfliper. That skater who never learnt olie and skiped to Kickflip, so he's kickfliping everything, kickflip to nose manual, kickflip to impossible, kickflip 50-50 , kickflip 1 foot manual. 😅😅😅 etc etc
the snake skater - this skater doesnt watch where theyre going, thinks only of themself, and cant be bothered for gas money..
they usually are pretty good, at least good enough to get the girl but dont really progress past that..
these are the ones that will ruin the line you waited a half hour for..
I'm the loner type of skater. I love skating and practicing on my own. Sometimes I have people coming and helping me with my sessions, but other than that I love not having social pressure around me. I like people who come from time to time tho!

im def the hill skater turned manager skater hahaha, im the one who archived all the video clips and kept others old boards just for the memories. in san francisco we def skated with a lot of these different skaters, rich kids, poor kids, the clearly-getting sponsored or at least flow kids. this video def brought me back through all the stages.
