"high voltage, a hazard I haven't touched yet". well played.
Better was "high voltage is exciting." Especially given the context.
Touchè
*takes out of context*
i know i am super late but electroboom can not say the same
I love how after the glass broke, then in the redux, your wearing all the protective gear lol!
Yeah, I messed up x) I always try to play it safe, but once in a while I'm surprised. In a previous video I had these fluids burning for several minutes on the petri dish without any issues. So I thought it was relatively safe. Luckily I was sane enough to use pliers/tongs and not my fingers to move the magnet... Thanks for watching!
@@brainiac75 But is there any experiment containibg all of this stuff?
Wow, the ferropaste after it had been burned looked almost stop-motion. Very cool.
Congrats. I laughed when you came back at the fire with protective clothing. Mistakes are just lessons to learn from.
Congrats on 500 K subscribers, and showing us your entire wheel of death!
Ur a cute kitty
Do u know what his main stream channel is?
Nice to see good creators getting the appreciation they deserve.
Also the moment when you put your head inside the laser funnel was somehow really hilarious.
Thank you for all your content.
IQuick 143 I thought he will stick his "other" head with it's two ferro-balls in the laser... dirty mind... 😂
When you instantly recognise the music at 7:26, you know you’ve been playing too much Kerbal Space Program.
Hahaha, same.
Same haha
Same, but I don't play Kerbal that much anymore
No, just 273 hours of it
No, just 6000 hours of it
7:30 ahh nice he put his hand through it
7:37 oh crap wasn't expecting the head

Dang that soda can blew my mind lol, I've only ever seen or heard of aluminum soda cans
Same i never seen a iron soda can. Mostly its aluminum. Also glass material which got attracted by magnet.
Man, that glass exploading was freaky. I hope you did not get hurt too badly.
Not a scratch - which is down to dumb luck. I used the pliers because I knew it would be an inherently bad idea to have my hands under something burning on glass. But I did not expect it to fail so energetic :/ Thanks for watching!
I'm a fan of your hazard roulette, very unique and quite versatile too, loved how you converted it for bio/chemistry in your previous vid. Even the way you did the conversion was clever, they're not just triangular warning placards, they're actually three/four sided caution pyramids! Congratulations on 500k subscriptions, thank you for all your fine work and for all the future videos on the road to One Million subscriptions. I'm happy to be along for the ride and am looking forward to the journey!
If you build a tesla coil, a DRSSTC would be awesome. It can play music with its discharges and uses semiconductors instead of a spark gap in a clasic tesla coil. They are harder to build but they are worth it. I myself have built a DRSSTC which can generate sparks up to 3m long!
3 meters!?! I think I'll start smaller than that x) But good suggestion - musical tesla coils just have that extra wow-effect. Thanks for watching!
@@brainiac75 Thank you for your reply :)
Of course you can start smaller, the sparks look still awesome! Here i have videos of my DRSSTC playing the imperial march and the pirates of the caribbean theme, if you are interested: ruclips.net/video/Y4GfKKOaoX0/видео.html
ruclips.net/video/4wngDCI2W84/видео.html
Maybe he could do a collab with ElectroBOOM?
Well on the way to build the famous Red Alert Tesla coil base defense? :D
That burned-down ferropaste was so cool!
I think you and Nikola Tesla, would have been the best of buddies!
A wonderful video to celebrate with. I like the 'teasers' about the two topics you have so far covered least. I can only hope you do expand on them. The laser and magnet disciplines can only grow I hope. Truly a remarkable achievement and well deserved. May you continue to grow and more importantly, educate along the way.
All the very best and, Cheers.
Thanks, Mr. Lamb :) Glad you liked the upcoming topics. I certainly will expand on the plasma ball and laser tunnel experiments in future videos. Much more to come in a style similar to what I've used so far!
It's not a laser tunnel!
It's HAL9000, just mad A F :D
@prinz. I'm sorry brainiac, I can't let you do that!
Congratulations! I love how much effort you put in your videos. They look like they were professionally made!
Thank you very much! I'm an amateur in every way and self-thaught in filming and editing etc. But I do know if something looks good or not - just takes a lot of time to get it right :)
Congratulations on the (deserved) subscribers! I'm always happy when a video from you pops up in the subscriber box. Interesting, informative and I just love your voice and the way you describe your experiments.
congrats, man. it's amazing how much your channel has gown. love your videos :)
Congratulations! I have been watching a long time and learned so much. Thank you and congratulations on a well-deserved milestone.
I love your channel so much!!
I learn so much things with you :)
Thank you for making videos ;)
Congrats on 500K subscribers :D
Congratulations man! Your videos are awesome! Keep it up!
Just perfect, hope your channel continue growing and congratulations 😊
6:36: I had to laugh out loud when I saw you all dressed up after the ferrofluid failure :D
Congratulations on 500k!!! You deserve each and every subscriber! As always, a super enjoyable video which only made me super hyped to see what's coming! That lazer tunnel was so cool!!! I have no idea how you did it though XD
Thank you very much! Try searching for 'laser spirograph' ;)
Oh my congratulations! I've been here quite close to the start and it has been an amazing ride! Amazing that your channel is growing! Plus your vids are amazing, keep em coming
Thanks for the support through the years, Ice! Much more to come on this journey into the fun and beauty of amateur science ;)
Congratulations!! I enjoy your videos very much :)
Keep it up
Over 3/4 of the way to 1 million! Well done, Brian. ❤
really like your videos, the tie in to chemistry and negative and positive ions, opens up a whole world.
People are ok in an MRI machine, so a little magnet shouldn't affect blood. I see you were better dressed for the ferro paste. I didn't expect the glass and the can to be affected, tricky! I don't know that we have such soda cans where I live.
Yep, no issues with even the strongest, permanent magnets. Yeah, I considered if it even was worth trying the ferripaste after the ferrofluid-failure. But my curiosity won x) The can is also very unusual in Denmark. Had to import it from Germany. Thanks for watching!
I'm following your channel for a long time now and I love how you increased the quality of your videos in this time! You'll sure beat the million. Looking forward to your next video! Btw. the videos have always a very relaxing atmosphere, which I like :)
Thanks, Lucas! The growing support gives me time and money to increase the quality continuously. Not to mention, that I'm self-taught and learn editing by doing so the extra experience is hopefully showing :) In real life I am a very easy-going person and prefer to be in a relaxed atmosphere 90% of my time, so I guess my personality just shines trough in the editing.
Congratulations Brainiac, you deserve it!
Congratulations, it shows that the well made videos and interesting subjects are appreciated. Looking forward to more experiments. Cheers...
Congratulations on the 500k, I laughed when the laser fell off! :D
Edit: Thank you so much for the heart! It means a lot :)
Congratulations on 500k!
Still love your videos, keep 'em coming! :D
That was awesome! Congrats for 500k!
Very nice video. as always... But this one is different, I think it is even more well done! You've improved your joke skills (laser part & more) just when thought I was used to this, You surprise me yet again! Very well done!
Awesome video! Good luck for the next 500.000 subscribers! 😍
Congrats man! You did it! I hope your channel keeps growing. Saludos from Chile (it's all the way down in South America).
Congratulations on your milestone! Great video tribute, I just recently found you and subscribed, Thank you for being so curious!
Thanks for all the videos you've produced for us to enjoy.
i love watching your videos and your voice is soo soothing i can watch all of your videos and not get bored :)
You make great content. I'm glad you feel such a nice way for your accomplishments. You deserve it. Keep up the greatness 🙂
Congrats on half a million! This was awesome!
Very nice video Brian, always glad to see the radioactives come out to play. And I did guess the number of magnetic objects correctly, just not the exact items lol. Congrats on 500k, looking forward to revisiting the Actinides in part 7. Also looking forward to your high voltage experiments, as I’m currently an electronics and electrical engineering student!
Fun with science! Awesome video and congrats on your 500K subs!!!
I love your videos very much! I remember subscribing to you couple of years ago (might be 2014 or 15. I don't remember) what I do remember is that you had just 5k subs back then. Never regretted that subscription back then. Keep the good work up! You could put your videos more often up tough.
That's awesome. Thanks for the support through the years, Tomasz. Much more to come, but no way I can make quality videos faster than one a month. Unless so many join my patreon, that I can live of making videos and quit my dayjob....
Great channel! Been watching since 100k subs! Keep up the good work and good luck on 1 million subscribers!
Thanks! 100k celebration seems like yesterday... 2017 and 2018 have been incredible for my channel. Hope it continuous - despite the challenges on RUclips :)
Very beautiful shots with the plasma lamp, looking forward to the full video!!
Thanks, it was a little struggle to get my camera to film this properly (and took some heavy editing...). I'm saving up for a better low-light camera, but hope to get the video out early in 2019. No promises though other than I will make the video! Thanks for watching!
3:45 i had a class were my teacher did this same demonstration, what a coincidence. Keep with the good work, your channel is one of the best that i know about.
One of the few channels I immediately watch a video as soon as it comes out. Thank you for the great videos.
Very interesting! Keep up the good work. Congratulations on 500000!
It's so sad that after nearly two years, his subscriber count increased by only 115k. Some RUclipsrs gain that in a day. This channel is so underrated.
Congratulations. I look forward to more videos in the future.
Congrats on making 500k!! As a physics major, I love your videos! I share them with my fellow physics classmates and even my professor enjoys them. Your attention to detail and safety is awesome! I cant wait to see what else you put out here!
Good job, loving your videos. Keep being yourself.
Congrats man. Have been here since 2015 watching your vids
Congratulations
Keep up the good work
Love your videos
Thank you very much!
Grats my guy, this is probably the best sub special I've seen
Congrats on the 500k 🎉, let's hope you will keep growing to withstand the mainstream :D
Btw. When you get started with high voltage, I hope that you will create an arc at one point too 😋
Thanks - much more to come :D Yes, I definitely have to create arcs. Plenty of opportunities: Jacob's Ladders, Tesla coils and even plasma balls can create visible arcs in air ouside the glass ;)
Congrats on the 500,000 keep up the good work and stay safe
Mainstream is boring. 💤
Congratulations for 500k subs!
I didn't even know there is a 'main'-er stream for brainiac?
It’s so great that a Denmark based YT channel is a big one! Always love yr videos, and I’m proud of you esp. when it comes to safety and thinking ahead of what could unexpectedly happen! Also a great use of kerbal space program soundtrack
Thanks, I'm glad to put a Danish touch on this huge platform. I always put safety high, so the petri dish mishap was embarassing to me x( But it's equally important to share failures so others can learn from it. Much more to come - now even safer from personal experiences :D
Yay! 500,000! You deserve it! I love your videos!
The production quality is awesome!
Ey my dude congrats! You sincerely deserve this!
Congrats man! Always found your channel cool, I find science really interesting.
6:59 the movements look like claymation! Super cool.
Man, I subbed when you had 1.5k, what a journey you’ve been on!
Congrats on the half million. Only discovered your page from the Big Clive server fan video and subscribed to you and MyPlayHouse.
Next stop 1 million!!
Ah, thanks to Big Clive then ;) I'm actually subscribed to him too. His calm bear style and subtle humour is a perfect match for me. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on 500 *thousand!*
I didn't expect those results. Congratulations on half a million!
You deserve this spot in youtube, you’ve shown me science to the max, something i couldn’t do but loved to watch. Im pleased to say when you ping my notifications even though i don’t comment. Im probably early as hell to your videos, day or night, Mr. Brainiac thank you for years on years of entertaining videos. ❤️❤️
WOW!!! Congratulations on 500k Subscribers.
Congrats. Deserved so much!
Awesome. Congrats on the milestone. More laser tunnel, please. 👍👍👍
Been here since that 10k sub special :) One the way to a million, I'll be cheering!
Awesome - that's quite some years ago... Thanks for the continuous support :D
HECK YA MAN! GOOD VIDEOS KEEP THEM COMMING. ALSO LOVE YOUR NARRATION.
I'm a subscriber and fan from long time and humbly consider that your videos, by content and production are amongst the finest on RUclips. My most sincere congratulations on your half million subscribers. Sadly for me I'm not in condition at this moment to be one of your patrons, but I'm hoping to become one in a near future.
Thanks a lot !
Thank you very much, Walter. Being a patron is totally optional - it's way more important to watch, like, comment and maybe even share my videos, so you are definitely helping me out by just being here! Much more videos to come.
Huge congratulations on 500k Brian! I remember when you told me at work that you had a youtube channel so i gave it a look. Watched almost all your videos, and look at you now! I'm super happy for you man, and looking forward to many more videos!
Thank you very much! Didn't even realize I have an ex-colleague watching here x) Much more to come - I'm not stopping now :D
@@brainiac75 Hehe, you sure do! I'm guessing you can tell which one from the profile name. Looking forward to more videos, and good talking to you again. It's been a long time by now :)
Congratulations on surpassing 500,000 subscribers!
Awesome video! 👍 Loved it.
I can't believe I haven't subscribed earlier! Your channel is one of the greats
You are a brilliant if humble man, you deserve it, well done.
Congratulations on 500k subscribers, you've absolutely earned it!
I know I'm late but honestly man, cudos to you. People like you and other youtubers who are just here to give really good information should have their place. I always enjoy watching your videos and hope that your future is always bright here on youtube.
Been watching this channel for years now, its amazing to see how exponentially this small, yet so large society of people has grown over time. Thank you for capturing our attention with your truly amazing videos that you compose and thank you for not conforming to the RUclips algorithm of spewing out low quality content in abundance.
Thank you very much Captain. Yeah, it's really hard to compete here on RUclips. Even channels with multi-million subscribers need to clickbait in desperation making it even harder for smaller channels like mine. I'm just going to patiently keep on doing what I like and feel passionate about. Seems to be working alright for now :o)
Congrats to 500k subs!
Also rip to that glass
Super fed video Brian, godt filmet og godt redigeret, super cool make them come ;)
Thank you, AlumiTube. Always nice to hear from another succesful, Danish RUclipsr ;)
Congratulations on 500.00 subscribers. Also i can't believe, that i've watched your videos for 3 years already. It was quite the journey with the magnets getting bigger and bigger and the lasers brighter. ^^
You have really earned it. You put so much effort to make these videos interesting and fun to watch and your accent is just so enjoyable :)
As for the Items which could be lifted, i had switched up the light bulbs, but i guess it really depends on the make and model. I would've thought that the soda can was an alu can so i guessed wrong there too. For the glass bead i wasn't quite sure, because i knew they were not pure glass, but i didn't know wether they are mixed with something magnetic... The only thin i really got right is the iron pill :)
Thank you very much, Yan. Yeah, the magnets are now bigger than I ever imagined. Wonder where we'll be in 3 more years :D The magnet lift test was meant to be tricky - a practical test is usually the only way to know for sure ;)
the laser bit looks a lot like the red eye of Jupiter
Glad to see the channel grow bigger and bigger. It's been so many years since I found it and I don't think I missed a single video since.
Awesome - thanks for the support through the years. Much more to come :)
Great things are coming your way Brian! The future looks big and bright! Stort tillykke med de 500 tusinde!
Keep it up ;)
7:26 Nice kerbal space program music :D
Stort tillykke med en halv million! Du gør et fantastisk stykke arbejde ved at vise videnskaben frem på en sjov måde
wow, congrats for over 500k subs!
Lykke til videre!
hypotic 8:01 :O Congratulations on the content, very interesting, hopw you make more videos, you should play with optics, lasers thru diferent glass types and properties.
congrats on 500k subs! :D
Congrats mate!
Congratulations! ✌️
