Glad we’ve got stuff coming back now, only issue I have with how certain things are repackaged going forward is adding in a captain or banner to a troop box, just ups the price and sometimes you don’t need that Captain and or banner again but another box of troops and it just adds to the price. That’s always something that’s frustrating with Iron Hills now you have to pay for that Captain and banner you won’t need after the first or second box Hopefully GW gets a lot of the range back into stock soon we’re missing an awful lot right now plus the new books etc
Hello! Viewer from Argentina. Just wanted to let you know that buying the core set from an importer here costs 400k pesos, which translates to about 335 US Dollars. In case you ever feel bad about your prices lol. It's pretty inaccessible unless I have someone travelling willing to bring some boxes.
There’s a few things I want but my pile of shame is already big enough Anyways I’m working on a little snow scenery and I need those orcs and snow troll for my goblins lingering around 😁
Lmao at the commander sets. In many cases they are going from 4 models to 3 models. I joked that they wouldn't lower the price... But for real, these prices are unbelievably greedy. I can't even believe people in the comments are excited to buy at these prices. I switched over to 3D printing a few years ago and I absolutely can't believe what GW is asking for.
As an aussie i dont know how GW can charge $100 for a single mini. You can get several nice 3d prints of similar minis for much lese. GW has priced itself out of the market here. It is often cheaper toget a friend or relative to buy GW models in Uk which are often discounted and pay for courier shiping to Australia, than buy the them here. Uk prices are usually less than 50% of Australia prices and the VAT is also nearly double ours. A rip off.
I thought the gundabad orcs literally just went last chance to buy just before christmas? Whats the point in discontinuing stuff to bring it back literally a couple of months later? And the trebuchet and watcher never left did they? I got two trebuchet’s for christmas and bought the watcher in october/november time. Im glad to see the trolls return though cuz i was gutted when they vanished and had missed them
Are you kidding me? This stuff is already released. No one cares about individual rohan minis from a garbage woke movie that pisses all over Tolkien's grave. Or lame celeborn without armor(i bet we see cringe Galadriel in armor first at this point). Give us Armies of Middle Earth!!! I dont want woke anime crap.
$5-10 for a plastic mini is insane. You can pay $60 and get a video game that hundreds of people worked on and years of entertainment. GW needs to get real
There's no such thing as free or cheap entertainment. But how many hours of enjoyment are you going to get out of a $60 video game? 20, 30? For $60 worth of minis I can, and have, spend 40 hours building, converting and painting and another 100+ hours playing with them.
You can literally apply the same logic to tabletop miniatures what are you on about… Additionally these minis don’t spring out of thin air they’re sculpted made and manufactured over a long period of time. Honestly…
@ I’ve been playing goldeneye, Mario cart, smash brothers and Mario golf for 30 years. The amount of materials used on those minis is $0.05. I get that someone designed and polished them, but they aren’t even painted. I have a lotr chess set that I pulled out from 2003 and it has great minis, I’m going to paint those instead
@ I bet there is one dude that spends a couple hours a week designing for MEBSG. And a team that decides on rules. It’s just pure greed imo. Sell it for a small profit which will allow more people to enter the game. The barrier to entrance is $500-700 (I’m including time and money spent building sets)
How much money do you think was spent on "materials" on the N64 cartridges you're on about? $1, if that? Even less is spent now that games are digital. Most people enjoy the painting side of the hobby. The miniatures are not "just" gaming pieces like this is checkers or whatever and are priced accordingly. If you have zero interest in painting or hobbying with the minis, then sure, just buy some crappy 3d prints off etsy or buy a bag of children's toys.

I really want to pick up Hera just because I love that model, and the Three Trolls because I like playing low model count armies.

Rohan Stronghold was £170 the first time around when i bought it but that was over two years ago. Therefore £195 may well be close to the mark.
I’m going to be picking up Hera and the Snow Troll :D can’t wait for them! :D gonna have the full movie by the time I get round to painting them… 😅😂
Does anyone know when there coming out the gundabad warband, etc.
New stuff new stuff new stuff wooo
Not sure if you picked it up or not but at the bottom of the article it says pre-orders will be delayed for Australia and New Zealand
Anyone know the release date?

These prices must be wrong. £37 for the haldir pack. What is the armoured version worth £20 or something
