    She completely misses the point, e-athletes „train“ even more than regular ones. The difference is that to be a athlete you gave to be fit but to be good at a video game you dont so they aren’t really athletes.

    Well a lot of people say that marching in a band isn’t a athletic activity but with one practice with my Apple Watch we marched for 3 and a half hour with 6 and a half miles on my watch so I think we do more than most defensive players on a soccer team that for sure!

    He’s 100 percent right, some e-sports players practice 12 hours a day every day and have unmatched motor skills and reaction times.
    It’s just the stigma around video games being for nerds and nerds being bad at sports. As a long time Basketball and Football fan I can appreciate how much some people invest in esports and how talented these people are. It’s not my shtick, but I can respect it.

      @himlolo 3 месяца назад

      @@ChriseanRock11 some people’s brains just process games, aiming, etc easier. Reaction times are genetic too. Sure it’s very very minor, but when it comes to games where a few MS or frames can make all the difference, some people are cut out for it and some aren’t, regardless of how many hours they put in

    • @ChriseanRock11
      @ChriseanRock11 3 месяца назад

      @@himlolo Coming from a calm place, take this comment respectfully, but I was pointing out the fact that yes gamers can be born with naturally faster reaction speeds, but I was saying that without training, this isn’t really important, if you put a gamer and an athlete against each other, the athletes reaction time is usually gonna be better because they actually train in plyometrics to maximize nerves, gamers don’t do anything to maximize their nerves so genetics don’t matter

    Try Getting into Esports... Y'all will understand how much of the work they put in... Bgmi/pubg athletes have to practice for 8-12 hrs daily to stay relevant... And their tenure ends once they get into late 20's...which means they play when they're young and have to retire when they get old... How is that different than field sports?..
