Another great song & songwriter that Sierra has introduced me to - thank you Sierra, for your best heartfelt version yet of this very poignant song by John Anderson!
Absolutely love digging through random fancam recording's of live performances on youtube... So happy I've stumbled across a live video of this amazing cover with a unique Sierra Ferrell twist & also so happy to see the legendary Oliver Bates Craven there!!
@@spencercraven3648 I'm a fan of his for sure/massive stray birds fan; I reckon the stray birds probably has one of the biggest back-catalog of original folk/bluegrass hits ever!! Almost like Iron Maiden of string-bands if that makes sense haha.. Moving on from the past & onto the present - loving everything from Sierra & the band right now and can't wait to see what the future holds! 🔮💚✨
Been watching you for years…since busking days with the knee highs. Today, one of my sixth graders asked me to play this song for our school Walk A Thon…well shit. You have arrived, and good on ya.
@@TheCircleinvidiosa definitely a night I didn't want to see come to an end. Was with 2 of my daughters and son in law.. I would love to relive it again as well. Couldn't have been a better setting to the night.
Maybe it's a regular thing she does, but loved her going up and sitting on the edge of the stage like that, just seems spontaneous and playful like she's telling the kids a story. Good shots of course, was that a VIP section?
I don't think so. And don't assume she's inclined to either (listen to the different ways she sings "Don't Let Me Down" to and you'll see what I mean!)
Protect this woman at all costs. She is a true American treasure and a gift to all of us.
This is the song that lead me to following Sierra. Thank you Dan Auerbach and Jon Anderson!
How does ol Dan fit in to the mix here? Just curious
@@mwinx8686Dan was a producer on John’s “Years” album
I love her so much
She’s great and so f’n cool but her crew is terrific, too. Love the harmonies in that chorus. Would be a really fun show to see.

It really is fantastic Oliver was available to join her tour. He's an incredible musician himself

You are so amazing!! Please always stand up to sing So you can expand those beautiful God given lungs you have!!! ❤
The way she raises that mic up after she got up made me think she was celebrating getting up so clean. It would have took me a minute. She's so great.
This is one of the best takes of this. (Nice videos all around!)
She's so freaking incredible
I was at this show too! was such a beautiful time in the rain. WHAT A VOICE
It was such an incredible show!!
can't make it to the first chorus without tears. Well Done Miss Ferrell i bow to you 👏
The rain didn't matter. Not at a show like this. Absolute perfection.

As good or better than any voice in Nashville.
Amazing!
Miss Sierra awesome as always.
Love Sierra
Your concert in Asheville was so awesome! Thank you!
Hey 👋 how are you doing?
Very nice..
Was an awesome show. You must have been right beside us from the angle of the vid.
It was so fantastic, wish I could relive it all over again! I was with my husband. He passed me his black cowboy hat once it started raining.

It was fantastic! And nope, it was a general admission show and we just got super lucky!
Sierra Ferrell for the Super Bowl national anthem 2025

There's my rockabilly queen.

@James Temple thanks for the reply I guess...
very nice . sure would like to me ya one of these days
Anyone know who made her dress?
Jimmy Winkler’s wife Janine made that.
Sierra seems like a modern day country Madonna! Not sure why she started showing up in my feed?
A good cover ,but nobody can sing it better thanJohn Anderson imho.
Puffy muffin
oxoxox
Hello 👋 how are you doing?
Is she married?!?
I don't think so. And don't assume she's inclined to either (listen to the different ways she sings "Don't Let Me Down" to and you'll see what I mean!)
I’ve said it before ,, if she’s not on halftime at the Super Bowl they are missing the boat. Best in a long time
