I was cheesing so hard like i was there 😂❤️❤️❤️ they did a beautiful job. Ive loved this song since i was a little girl. I remember seeing the video and seeing it was shot in new orleans (being from louisiana it was so cool to see that)
My beautiful sisters. I immediately started to sing along, even though I don't understand a word. I've listened to Makeda so much through the years that I can sing along to it. Right now I have "El son Reggae" on repeat everyday. They make beautiful music. Cameroon has 230 different languages? I thought Nigeria was something until i heard this.
Wow! CONGRATS gals. You guys ROCK. Love all your albums...I go with you guys whenever I'm at the gym. Your music gives me more energy to workout the abs😅😅 My beautiful Cameroonian sisters. Keep the fire burning🔥🔥❣
Someone in my musical circle lived near Sean Blackman in Royal Oak. I played guitar for him at his house back in like, 2003? I sorta left the planet when this interview happened. Good stuff....love Les Nubians
Thanks for your perspective. I have a romantic view of Africa in my head and so I tend to lump together all of its many different countries. Honestly I probably will still continue to do so even in light of new information. I wish I could change my dreamer's view like right away. I'll give myself some time. Please wish me luck.
I love them. Classy ladies.
Love them! They gave one of the best live shows I ever saw in the early 2000s. ❤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Elle a dit, 'à la dérive MES mots' au lieu de 'à la dérive DES mots'. C est cool.
Nubian
The Nubians indeed. Whoooooooooo I'm still in love!
One country in Africa is as diverse as India . Please stop thinking of Africa as one country . For each country on the continent has many 'states ' .
Who are you talking to?
