Prym knitting mill , abt €26 euros for making the four stitch icord. Demonstrations on youtube. Best thing I ever bought. At.first.I though they were too over priced but now I realise the labour hours it saves is immense and I dont groan when a pattern needs an icord. You can also use an icord as a foundation and knit into it , you can also sew them onto edges of tops and blankets. There is also a way to make nice crochet cords thats very quick, no chain and no scs. It doesnt seem to have a name so I can never find it to show people on the internet how to make it.
The whole Pressed Flower thing is Mosaic Knitting... Wasn't that originally desined by Andrea Mowry? Currently I am obsessed with Natasja Hornby and her Lunae Shawl. I am inspired to knit a Summer Top based on her designs. Wow, You are Super Talented!!! I really need to learn to Double Knit or try to make I Cord.
Very much enjoyed your podcast! Love the color combinations you choose for your projects And especially love your pressed flower shawl colors : ) This was my first time finding you Will be looking forward to seeing your finished vest and other project you are planning to knit
Nepal ..it does pill but they are nice pills and easy to remove with a wool de fuzzer. Not like giant blobs, for me its ok and I dont mind them on that wool. The tighter you knit it, the less you will get them and your cardigan looks tight enough. Ive made slippers with leather soles out of nepal and there is no pilling because of the dense fairisle stitching. Another way to prevent pilling is to add a strand of silk mohair or something similar. Your flower shawl colour choice is lovely.
Your pressed flowers shawl is so gorgeous and those colors are blended so well togethers 👌💝🙏🤩❤️
