I like that this boat is small yet has enough space and comfort as well as utility. I once thought I would like to spend months exploring. Now a day or a weekend is perfect and the boat is very quick. Perfect boat. Love it
That upper deck just keeps going and going and going! I was surprised to see two cabins side by side - the boat is bigger inside than outside! Great. Tour as always - thank you!

What a great boat. Well thought out and modern without being over the top! Nice engines as well plenty of confidence with them. Those aussies sure know how to make a boat!
Australian boat building is quite underrated and makes stuff to rival many of the northern hemisphere manufacturers - but is less known about in Europe and the UK. Riviera (and Australian boat builders in general) tend to do better among US markets. They focus a bit less on the “cocktail crowds” and a bit more on family and rugged adventure/fun. Though as you can see, Rivieras are plush, comfortable and definitely luxurious.
The layout is really useful for a family, with seperate areas to spread out into. The aft layout would be great to fish from too.
I agree that that patio set up leading out to the cockpit is versatile and welcoming. Smart design.
Nice boat. I'm sure it will tick a lot of boxes for folks who like diving, fishing, and spearfishing, as well as a little getaway cruise. Thanks for another fun tour.
Three cabins and two heads with lots of space on the main deck coupled with premier twin engines for exceptional performance and economy. What’s not to like on this lovely vessel. Thank you Nick for a thorough and efficient tour. You have raised the bench. Keep it and you may find yourself retired in the French Riviera with your lovely wife in this very yacht!

Nick, thank you for another great tour. I always love to see Riviera yachts. Riviera doesn't tend to get as much coverage as other yacht manufacturers but they build great yachts.

Beauty of a boat! I've got my eye on this one's little brother, the 395 SUV. I really love that concept. Cruiser in the front, sport fisher in the rear!
The lighting under the lid of the grill on the aft deck is a brilliant idea. The ladder to the engine room on the same side as the hatch is not. An interesting boat to look around, thank you for the tour.

Riviera from Qld, Australia. Factory about 15mins from my house. Stunning yachts but I would take a flybridge Riviera everyday over this SUV. Just personal preference.
Yes Scott the Flybridge is much more exciting and enjoyable in many ways. Two drawbacks are more area higher up for the wind to push against and eventually the ladder becomes challenging for the knees and back to use. Enjoyed a Sea Ray Fly for nearly 15 years and enjoyed every minute of that flybridge!
The ladder down the engine hatch seems to be on the opposite side for best access. Also, the guy in the hat at 7:25 seems to be just waiting to be meme'd into the "Really? / I'm not impressed" category, ready to replace the guy at the hockey game that is so popular. 😁
Nice sensible comfortable boat not flashy. The Aussies made a great well planned boat. Does what it says on the tin.

Absolutely love the patio/cockpit combination. It really gives you so many more options in terms of how you can use the space.
I'm imagining sitting out there on a chilly winter morning somewhere in the Baltics with a cup of coffee with the "patio" partially enclosed -- lovely.
Magnificent band, especially around this size and a bit bigger. Famously seaworthy.

the aft deck area on these SUV Rivs is simply amazing. A real all aronder.
It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but for a sub 50ft boat I quite like the SUV concept and besides it a Riviera, enough said!👌🖖

Nick. While I think of it. A revolution for galleys. Better than a microwave. Air friers. Amazing space savers. Less water needed. Less washing up. I boil eggs in mine with no water. Perfect toast too.
The new microwave is an air fryer also ❤
Very nice and lovely boat with a great layout. I love the back porch idea. Clean and well organized engine space with a big generator. Good price for all this fun. "This is all about fun, practical living". I originally thought you said "This is all about fun, frat-house living"!!! Both probably true!

TV are not priority in the design and are mostly an afterthought
@@grandcalifornia8410 these boats have a range of a few hundred miles. Nobody goes away for months at a time on them.
@@dtutssel correct, but it doesn’t mean you can’t just stay somewhere by the coast stationary and spend weeks or months on the boat or even when it’s docked 👀

Lovely layouts. Nothing to complain about and almost a "superyacht" for money that plenty of people can afford. Also like that they keep the clean GRP/gelcoat on the decks, don't need to cramp in teak everywhere. Much more maintainable.

Yes it has just been released. It’s called a 46 fb. Same hull and cabin layout. Helm moved to fly bridge and replaced with more seating. It’s very nice
