DESCRIPTION: Welcome back to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6! Today we’re going over the latest Black Ops 6 blog that was shared with us from Treyarch; they wanted to give us some updates on some changes that they’re making to BO6 multiplayer after the Black Ops 6 beta, and while there are some great quality of life changes in the blog there are also some changes that I strongly disagree with, and ultimately I wanted to reinforce some points I made in my reviews of the BO6 beta because I want this years’ Call of Duty game to be the best that it can be, and I feel like Treyarch also want to achieve this and make good changes based off of community feedback. NOICE!

season 2 of XDefiant looks pretty fun so far
I think it’s great so far! Always could be better I hope treyarch goes all out for bo6 and try to revive call of duty, I hope they come up with a solution for the on demand streaming tho
I just really hope they add a OG game mode where they remove omni-movement, Openable doors and sliding and there being only dolphin diving.

Part of me kinda wishes COD could not lean so massively into Nuketown and Shipment. They're perfectly fine maps but especially recently this massive obsession with giving us like 10 variants of Shipment is just ???. Rather them focus on new and interesting maps
The COD playerbase is mostly dopamine addicted brain rot shipment players
I'm sure they have data that shows it's what we mostly play, so in a way they're just giving us more of what we want. I'm really happy with 16 new maps at launch tho!
@@M3RKMUS1C Yeah but the only reason people play shipment is because it's one of the most efficient maps to grind camos on. I like Arena Shipment though, gives just a bit more breathing room but not too much

I'll say that MW2019 Ground War was amazing and I played the hell out of it. Every other cod after that just had a worse version in my opinion. Even MW2's Ground War just didn't hit the same.
Agreed! A big part of that imo was map design and allowing more freedom for vehicles
What i think your not understanding fully is the fact that yes we asked for smaller maps but with the new movement being way faster the maps now feel to small
Omnimovement doesn't equate to faster movement speeds, it just means we can slide and dive in different directions. Movement speeds across the board felt like typical COD

The winner circle thing is no big deal. This is a “calm down” moment. We have bigger things to worry about it for the game
The water map AB to be the most hated of all time
Bad thing about small maps is there is hardly any room for strategic routes to take (especially in S&D) Hopefully the gameplay doesn't feel braindead overtime.
Ending the Omni emote spam isn’t going to help them sell more emotes
And why is treyarc doing the "HEY NO FUN" method with emotes, cmonnn mannn
It’s actually confusing to me that they’d do this, the “going down” emote starting with a thumbs up allows you to start another emote right after the thumbs up and turn a negative emote into a positive one. It seemed like it was designed with that in mind even. I did the thumbs up part of the emote then do the respect emote if it was a really good game for instance, the system in the beta allowed more freedom in expression beyond the locked in animations

I rarely did any emotes in the winners circle so it doesn’t bother me 😂 however it did last a little bit longer than expected
I just hope they can make it where it’ll let you know when you have new attachments for your gun when you go back to the lobby.
Medium maps is most fun in my opinion. Small maps like rust and shipment is just too much of a shitfest in my opinion

I agree with a lot of people when i say the maps were a bit too small to fit the movement. if there were a couple more medium maps in the beta, instead of Babylon which is basically a face-off map, it would've felt better to play
I’m pretty sure that when they say “asset streaming” that refers to streaming assets from the local storage/SSD into video memory on demand, not streaming from the internet. So they are downloaded just not loaded into memory at all times.
We’ve reached a time where a lot of the people who even play COD are younger than the map shipment
people dont care about winning in casual. there is so many times in cod xdefiant or others where in a casual game some dude calls the team "braindead" "retarded" "dumbasses" and worse i wont type for not "locking in" on the objective 24/7

The game isn’t call Winner Circle Ops 6. It’s not a big deal at all. People would’ve spammed emotes a couple times and then forgot about it anyways
I personally think they should stick with ground war, it feels like such a waste not to include it, it’s 1000% more casual then regular cod and is a fun change of pace. It also has its own feel and gameplay compared to battlefield, and since the maps are usually ripped from warzone or campaign it allows you to experience those areas in a different type of gameplay
They probably won’t do this, but I hope they add a Leatherface skin since this years is TCM’s 50 year anniversary
Really feeling like this game is gonna take us back to a quality multiplayer COD experience. Always personally clicked more with the Treyarch games and the beta felt great. Hoping they don't screw it up ;-;

There was a loud group of people that were complaining about how long the winners circle was because they need those extra three seconds to go find another match and they can’t be bothered to sit through something. I feel like it was such a non issue but the minority of people made it such a big deal that Treyarch felt they needed to change it.

I feel like a good solution to that is allow us the option to skip it, since it's the end of the match, everyone doesn't have to be in sync since they all gonna go back to the lobby anyways

Imma be honest, I just gave the map another look and it does look like Shipment but with a larger footprint. The preview image they used gives it a bigger sense of space, but the map overview says otherwise lol

A couple cod influencers made bo6 beta feedback videos crying about the winner’s circle so wouldn’t be shocked if that was the cause. They were crying about the hostage mic thing as well so that might get removed soon too. God damn corporate video games man, where no fun, goofiness or quirks are allowed :(

they should've made ground war a separate whole game mode like warzone is. Imagine a class based battlefield style call of duty. The potential is there but they just don't capitalize on it fully for some odd reason

I hope the map voting is actually random, because in mw3 if Shipment is in the map vote, Rust and the other tiny maps are always the other option. Same the opposite too, Wasteland and Derail would be the 2 options
I like smallish maps but they are so unbelievably small in Bo6. Nobody wants an ultra large map like stonehaven, i want a medium sized map like greece in bo6. Thats a great size for a map, even a map the size of departures just made better would be way better than a majority small maps. I love medium maps.
Shipment should primarily be a gunfight map, or a 4v4 max team battle map.

I understand the map size argument. Its not just size that you have to take into account, but also movement speed. If it was MW2 movement (or lack there of) bigger maps feel massive but with bo6 movement theyd feel smaller. That said though i hope all the maps are small to medium
It’s the same with XDefiant with the “player of the game”. I don’t care about winning but I want to win so my character has that cool cutscene. SBMM (which is impossible to ignore) makes me -want- to lose so maybe the next game will be better. but as you said the winners circle made me want to push a bit more, somewhat ignoring SBMM. Hey everyone, i have a question, i havent played recent cods but pre ordered bo6 and downloaded the cod hq. If i buy cod points now in the hq, can i use them later for the bo6 bundles, since its gonna be there as well?
sbmm ruined it for me as a zombies fan, i barley bought MW3 just to play with my little brother but i don't think i can do this SBMM mixed with omimovement which just gives everyone the movement only KBAM players cam abuse in current COD
