I just adore evergrace. I'm completely in love with the soundtracks and the visual designs of the games. The evergrace 2 title theme is seriously one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard. It just gives such an incredible feeling. I played evergrace as a kid but only played and finished forever kingdom a few days ago. They have such a unique vibe, matched by nothing else. It doesn't seem like it was released in pal regions so I had to emulate it. Kinda glad I did because those last boss fights are a complete nightmare. I cheesed it and used save states during the boss fights and it was still incredibly painful lol Did you know that evergrace was originally going to be a PS1 game but they scrapped it for PS2? There was already a completed soundtrack for the PS1 version but it has never seen the light of day. I hope it's not lost forever and eventually gets leaked
The best thing about Evergrace is your reward for getting all the items and monster entries, a massive pain which requires at least a trip to the bonus dungeon with each character ( a pitch black area with semi invisible platforms including one that curves, an odd gimmick around killing enough of a certain type of monster to open a path forward, and a BS bonus boss on a moving platform that is visually busy} is the plot synopsis.
I love evergrace, it seems fairly unknown despite being a launch title.
