    I worked on these in my fifties (80 now), all your advice is on the money. You can set the points with a match book cover as well. Thanks, Rick….. 🌴

      Thanks Rick for your kind comment and good to know I'm giving the right advice from someone that worked with these cars. Love the tip for setting the points. Haven't done a video on that yet. More videos coming. Jamie

    Excellent! Could you tell me what tire sizes and rim widths you use on your Beetle?
    Mine is from 1970 and has 4-hole rims, 5.5 in the back and 4.5 in the front with 560R15 tires all arround. It is lowered only at the front with 6cm dropped spindles and discs. But I want to change the tires soon so as not to damage the originals. Thank you and greetings from Portugal

      Hello there. Mine are 5.5 inch wide Porsche 356 replicas with Vredestein Sprint Classic 165 HR 15 tyres. Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment. Jamie
