    Hey! This was a very helpful review. Are the batteries still working fine after a year of using them?

    When used with Sony A7 R2, the battery level does not show correctly, 0% is displayed, but the camera can work for another 15 minutes.

    Hi
    Can you charge original Sony batteries with this instead of in-camera charging?
    Thanks

      Hi there dear viewer, of course you can, I've been changing it since the beginning just fine. It's much more convenient to swap and charge.

    I have the same smallrig batteries, but while the indicator pro is 1% in the camera, it shoots video for 20 minutes without interruption, do you have the same problem?

    • @dan_youtube
      @dan_youtube  Месяц назад +1

      Not sure because I don't let it go lower than 5%. I consider losing the footage too risky

    can you update the data now? I'm curious how smallrig battery perform after 8 months. Is it still comparable to Sony orignal battery or not?

      I'll probably do a test at 12 months but I don't see a difference now while using it. It's definitely better than the other brands I bought before

    Hello! I notice that they come ch 7.4V instead of 7.2V as the original ones have. Does this affect anything? Thank you very much!
    I want to use on my A6100 camera. :D

      Nice catch, it does not affect anything at all, still going strong on my A6000 and ZVE10!

      @@dan_youtubeI bought it too. It takes too long to charge my Sony batteries. I think it takes a long time to charge my MacBook adapter. How long does it take for you? What is your adapter?

    • @dan_youtube
      @dan_youtube  8 месяцев назад

      @@mahiraksoy86 I usually leave them to charge overnight so I'll check next time. But the charger is nothing special just a Samsung 2 amp charger. My priority is how long they will last rather than fast charging.

    Have you tried charging the original sony battery in this charger? Is it safe to use it with this charger?

      I did charge the original new and a few years old Sony batteries. They are safe for the charger.

  • @pen25

    batteries should drop to roughly 80% and will last longer and is safer

    • @dan_youtube
      @dan_youtube  Год назад

      You mean that should be stored at 80% ?
      If so that is correct, anywhere from 50 to 80.
