I heard this story a couple years ago but That is one of the most grotesque stories I've ever heard & honestly it still makes me shudder in disgust when I hear it again. The deer one is super creepy to me because a similar thing happened to me and my mom. Whatever you believe, my mom is SUPER sensitive to things. She can tell if I'm having a bad day even though I live 3 hours away. She also knows when I'm in danger and will usually try to call me. I'm somewhat sensitive but nothing like that. My family used to live on the edge of Salida, a 5000 person town in the heart of the Rockies. And when I say on the edge I mean RIGHT on the edge of town. I was home visiting from college and my mom and I went on a walk. It was a bright, warm summer day and my mom and I went down by the old railroad bridge less than a city block's distance from my grandparents' house, about two blocks away from our house. My mom and I didn't go directly by the bridge but took the long way around. There's another little bridge where my mom and I used to play when I was little and it's kinda a special spot for us so we like to visit it now and then. That day we went down and we stopped at the little bridge, probably about 50 feet from the railroad bridge. We both suddenly got this horrible feeling and my mom got really dizzy and I got really nauseous. We both looked back to the railroad bridge and there right under the bridge was this conspicuous cooler, one of those big cheap styrofoam coolers. It was dirty and splattered with blood. My mom and I tried to get closer but we both felt so horrible and sick we couldn't even get close to it. We went home pretty quick, my dad wasn't home yet so my mom called my grandfather. He said he'd also noticed something weird when he took his dog for a walk, they got pretty close to the railroad bridge and the dog started going BALLISTIC. Afraid it was a bear or something, my grandfather dragged her home and didn't think much more of it but the dog stayed outside and just sat at the fence growling all afternoon. When my dad got home we told him about it and he went to check it out. When he got home he was visually shaken and he explained that in the cooler was the body of a doe that had been absolutely mangled, torn to shreds. There were also indications that someone had been sleeping under the bridge very recently probably even just the night before. We've known plenty of hunters and my mom suggested maybe it was a hunter's that they left there for some reason. My dad and I disagreed though because what hunter would shoot a deer, brutally tear it apart, stuff it in a cooler, and then leave it under a bridge to rot? What's worse is my dad had seen the cooler the day before driving by but just thought it was trash, meant that whoever had spent the night there the previous night had spent the entire night next to this rotting carcass which according to my dad you could easily smell from several feet away. He called the wildlife service and they came out and collected it and even they thought it was seriously messed up and had no explanation for why someone would do that.
