@@cannonsmith184 thanks brotha. I did this same race in January and was 50 seconds faster per lap this time. Stoked on that. They had a Yamaha demo day this last weekend in mesquite, I’m sure they’ll have one close to where you’re at, at some point. Then you could try a 250fx. For these style of races this bike is ideal for me. There were a few instances where I wish it had a little more power, to make up for my lack of skill lol like in the rollers and the uphill jump into the Offroad section. I’ve slowed the shutter speed down a bit to add a little motion blur, it makes the video look more life like in my opinion
@@eastman922 Great improvement for sure! Man I've been asking the dealers here (Phoenix) if there are ride days scheduled but nothing yet, will definitely do that though if one is close. My desert is fairly similar to UT so a 250FX would be sweet down here. Currently on a EX250 GasGas with a TSP head/tune. Thanks for the heads up on the GoPro settings. I love the motion blur, it's really well done. Going to have to copy you!
@@cannonsmith184the thing I appreciate is the smooth linear power you get on the 250fx. It won’t tire you out as fast as a hard hitting 2T or 450. I went down a tooth in the rear and the power feels great. If you’re ever in Utah or at the Mesquite track I don’t mind letting you try out the bike
how many gear does that bike have and how many miles can it go on one tank, also i been wacthing the vid a just listen to music I think you ride pretty smooth it is like a chill ride style and i love it and how reliable is the yz250fx
@@Jacobwilson61 it has 6 gears. I’d say it can get about 45miles on a tank, depends on conditions and riding style. I’ve done some longer desert races and haven’t had an issue with fuel, as long as I’m topping off at the pits. Thanks for watching dude, it’s a blast to be on a course like this. I’ve got 35ish hours so far on the machine and it’s been incredible. Only time will tell with longevity but so far my body is less reliable than the bike lol
That race looked wicked!
@@jacobivey319 dude it was so fun. The sand was super loamy and the track was perfect
you're flying man! great ride! Gonna convince me to move to a 250FX sooner than later!
What are your GoPro settings? the videos look really good.
