Just remember everyone is on 4 tires and they dont know if theyre hooked to a metric chassis or the dodge you have. They just know load. The leaf springs are really what determine how your car is difference from the rest. Youll never get it to bite like a coil car in the slick, but on a rough and tacky track the leafs are much superior and forgiving.
Well the apex (middle of corner) is where u want to be able to pick up the throttle even a bit sooner if ya can.. allot these dirt guys will just left to set the car and then throttle it right back up literally just after entry.. I think your guys old ass (car) well chassis is what’s always gonna hurt yall.. everyone is on gm metric chassis pretty much! Hell there even making tube chassis that match metric oem locations these days and many tracks are allowing them to be ran. 🤦🏼. Local racing has turned into who has the most $$ club imo!! Just have fun as father and son cause tm hell the next second isn’t promised or guaranteed to any of us.. enjoy the time spent together don’t let the bs get in the way of that which is what in life is truly all that matters !!
@@baims8367 we agree 100%. Working on moving towards a metric chassis eventually to be competitive. But, We try to not get caught up in trying to be competitive and just enjoying the present. Thank you for the reminder though, its always appreciated. We appreciate you watching and interacting with our channel!
whats really gets my blood boiling is our track has a bring your track rules which means only us local have to follow the tracks rules but people two states over can come a outrun us local guys.
Great video.
@@TheBuick40 thank you we will keep them coming!
Try using some trail braking on corner entry, wont have to rely on the engine to slow you down as much.
@@aft0315 I’ve been practicing trail braking on iracing, but haven’t tried it much in a real race.
