My stance is I admire this Channel because it’s down to earth teaching things and presenting how one person does their chores each day. The presenter is attractive which makes watching more inviting. Great voice is another plus. Good advice for a start up small off grid farm enthusiast for sure.
Thanks for sharing your egg issue! Haven't laughed that much in a long time. Sorry it had to be at your expense. Yet again, you are amazing your family is amazing and what you're doing is amazing. Stay being you don't ever change a thing.
Just Love her sweet disposition and finding ways to stay positive. Oh the life of a homestead mini ranch early morning 7 days a week. Thanks for having me 👍👍❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I grew up in South-West Minnesota. Finally, we moved to Georgia and my brain thawed out. My family & extended family were ALL farmers. None of them had that healthy head of hair, though!!! You're like the "cousin that I never had, but always needed". "Keep the Faith"...🇺🇸 👍☕
Back in 1963 when I was only three I decorated a hardboiled Easter egg for my grandmother. She saved it through the years and when she died I inherited the egg back. After 61 years this egg is still unbroken, when you gently shake it you can feel the petrified egg inside rolling around like a marble inside the shell.
I’m usually multi tasking when I’m listening to you guys but I just wanted to say that it’s impressive how many skills you have in the homestead/farming world Kim, I have been backyard farming and chicken wrangling for 7 years and I can still learn something every time I tune in to your channel 😊 also wanted to say that I really enjoyed seeing your family in the last couple of your videos 👍blessings to you and yours during these times 😊
If you fill a tub with water, and put a frozen hose in it, the temp difference should melt the hose enough that when you put pressure to it, it will shoot out the ice in ice cubes…❤
I recently met a skunk on a side path of a field near my home at night. He bushied up his tail in warning and I did a about face and luckily was Not sprayed or similar.
You are precious. I grew up drinking fresh milk from Jersey cows and raised chickens and turkeys for 4H and FFA. Rotten eggs are definitely not something to smell early in the day. I am not sure if it is worse at freezing or 100+ we have here in Texas. Like you, I hate winter. Keep working at your passion though, the rotten egg odor will pass away with birth of a new batch of chicks.
Someone who loves cold weather! I live in Maine and it is technically the coldest state (lower 48) 👉 because even in the summer it can drop into the 40s at night! I love your videos; you're such a hard worker!
The green ones with the ammonia smell sux the worst lmao girl you’re so pretty and awesome and you work hard in a cold ass climate too wow you’re definitely one of a kind you’re knowledge of a working farm too that’s so awesome too 😀😘
That's funny, I caught your "top pocket find" saying! You watch "The Curse of Oak Island"! If they had an aerial view of the island when they named the island, I think they would have named it, Duck Island! LOL
I really like your sweatshirts and would love to know what brand is the one at 04:05? Is it really warm? So many are too thin, but you know how to dress in the cold for sure! I also think your hair is incredible, what a blessing to have such healthy, abundant curls -- they must be natural? I'd love to learn more about eastern Indiana and if they have regenerative ranchers there who sell grass fed beef and milk
Use vinegar and rub in to your skin well, then a good degreasing-type soap to help rid you of that revolting smell. That has worked for me when our turkeys laid a clutch of eggs I was unaware of, behind the garage. It might be easier and faster to "pluck" your cows by hand if there are only two. It really isn't that hard, no milker to clean and your hands stay warm. Cheers from a farmer here in a -20°C Alberta, Canada.
Are there sheep? Sheers come in real handy. Edit: wait, move to Queen Anne Hill in Seattle and people will think they are in the70's and Heart is back.
😂😂😂. Ok ok. Sista. This humidity in the deep south gets old too. So your fall and springs. Should way way better than L.A. ( lower alabama ) 😂😂. Enjoying your video’s 🤠🙌🏼
Lol, my love for the milk cow faded years back. Lol, but am considering a dairy goat, like there isn't any obstacles with them. I always had orphaned calves to go with my cow. She raise two at a time and gave me time off. The mouth on the calf wouldn't freeze.
Kim what I miss most about my cow. Butter fat in the milk. Cream so thick it's like ice cream off a spoon. You can't buy it at a store. Just memories, your growing you own now, they don't need canning and last forever. Enjoy
Hopefully... one day, you'll be able to have a good laugh of that experience and chalk it up as just a minor "glitch" on the farm! Stay strong, determined and let your "light" shine for all to see! Best wishes for you and your family. Carpe Diem!
Try hunter’s scent away soap or Frebreze. Try some elastic spider man type elastic gloves (Menards). They have a rubber palm, but elastic shell. You can even cut the fingertips off the 3 fingers for more dexterity. They are good for work in the summer too.
You and your Main Man dude!!!, and your kiddo's have a great holiday, of course when work is done. One thing I love about you is your non-girly girl hands. I am 69 Earth years as I refer to age, Ha! a single father of a soon to be in January, 18 year young son, Noah. As per your hands thingy. When I was a young child, a very elderly woman across the road from us told me you can tell a lot about a person by their hands. Your hands show you actually do things in your life, not the eagle claw nails that most city folk chicks show as their fashion, and Identity. Always remember each day to hug your hubbie, and your kiddos, and tell them you love them, for one never knows how fleeting this connection can be. Enjoy their souls, and your own, life is good.
I absolutely love your channel! I was born in Dayton,Ohio in 1964 and always wanted a girl like you. God bless, and Merry Christmas!!!! ✌💀👍✊✊✊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 "Smell my hand" 😂😂😂😂
curly hair is so underrated. so beautiful

She is beautiful especially with that wild mop of hair.
She must curl her hair in purpose. Otherwise it’d be a mess. Messier I mean.
I know.I think she's beautiful to.
She Is!! Beautiful eyes!
Thanks for sharing your egg issue! Haven't laughed that much in a long time. Sorry it had to be at your expense. Yet again, you are amazing your family is amazing and what you're doing is amazing. Stay being you don't ever change a thing.
This girl loves her life, you can tell.
I love the farm in the winter.
No bugs.😊
The colder, the better.
Just Love her sweet disposition and finding ways to stay positive. Oh the life of a homestead mini ranch early morning 7 days a week. Thanks for having me 👍👍❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Im a montana man. I can handle the cold better than the heat. Your amazing. And beautiful.
LOVE THAT HAIR! Don’t ever change it. Wild and free…
You are a bright star.
OMG!!! Beautiful in every way!

I just love your hair. Farm videos are always interesting. I live in north west Minnesota. Fosston.
You're such an amazing person.
Stay strong little one.💛
Your farm reminds me of my family farm in western Wisconsin. It's damn cold in the winter and hot as hell in the summer, but autumn is nice.
Amazing Rural Setting; Well Done!
Thank you!!! this was a hilarious episode.
There are two things that smell terrible, rotten eggs and spilled goat's milk in the car. You have my full sympathy
That definitely made my day and gave me a huge belly laugh thank you
Wash smelly hands with dish soap & yellow mustard to remove smells . Works terrific for skunked dogs and other skunked things, including people .
I recently met a skunk on a side path of a field near my home at night. He bushied up his tail in warning and I did a about face and luckily was Not sprayed or similar.
It blows my mind how beautiful you are!!!! Love your hair!
always empty the water out of your hoses when not in use.
Why does it matter?
The warmth of summer sun is your reward for such hard work. "Joy cometh in the morning"
You /really/ need quick connects for all your hoses. One more little thing to make your systems easier every day.
Thank you for sharing your life experiences! I just found your channel and subscribed! Keep the wonderful content coming!
Love this, livestock way more stress than arable but we still spend our time thinking about weather, frost in spring sucks!
You're so adorable! Farm girls are awesome.

Never had rotten egg on my hands but after fishing with dead shrimp we would wash our hands with toothpaste to get the stink off. Keep warm from FL.
Beautiful hair, my Philopena wife has beautiful long thick black hair and I love it when she curls it.
😂😂😂 still got youre sense of humour. I'm in the tropics and wish I was somewhere cooler.
Get a long sleigh that holds 4 five gallon pails and haul water that way. That’s what I do. Just a thought. If u have enough ground snow
Someone who loves cold weather! I live in Maine and it is technically the coldest state (lower 48) 👉 because even in the summer it can drop into the 40s at night! I love your videos; you're such a hard worker!
Goodness gracious!! You are stunning!
😂Good morning on the Farm in the Winter. You can call it a new Hair Style, Farm Frosted.🤣
Great video! Thanks for sharing your story.
Living the dream, have a good one Rockstar
The green ones with the ammonia smell sux the worst lmao girl you’re so pretty and awesome and you work hard in a cold ass climate too wow you’re definitely one of a kind you’re knowledge of a working farm too that’s so awesome too 😀😘
It’s just a thing young lady, you don’t have to live there, you get to you are blessed
I dont know how we havent seen your channel until now .Love it! New friends here
That's funny, I caught your "top pocket find" saying! You watch "The Curse of Oak Island"! If they had an aerial view of the island when they named the island, I think they would have named it, Duck Island! LOL
Never say " can my day get any worse" because it absolutely can and will get worse....that hair tho😮
I agree!
I’m tired just looking at that Alarm clock 😂😂😂
Me, too!
What a PERFECT counr\try girl! Especially the hair!
Hello can you make a full video about cow milking by bucket milker please❤
I really like your sweatshirts and would love to know what brand is the one at 04:05? Is it really warm? So many are too thin, but you know how to dress in the cold for sure! What beautiful hair!!!!
First time I have ever seen a farmer with a permanent!

Wow. Should be in Hollywood.
Are there sheep? Sheers come in real handy.
Edit: wait, move to Queen Anne Hill in Seattle and people will think they are in the70's and Heart is back.
I lived in warm places and missed the winter and the other way around 😆 never satisfied.
A little tip take all the hoses in the house at night they won't be frozen in the morning
Cows are such a pretty animal.
That was fear factor level gnarlyness. You were hanging on for dear life. 🤜🤛
😂😂😂. Ok ok. Sista. This humidity in the deep south gets old too. So your fall and springs. Should way way better than L.A. ( lower alabama ) 😂😂. Enjoying your video’s 🤠🙌🏼
Love the hair. Looking good.
Hope spring gets here soon.
@honey trail farm: Wow! You look beautiful in that sunrise.
Lol, my love for the milk cow faded years back. Lol, but am considering a dairy goat, like there isn't any obstacles with them. I always had orphaned calves to go with my cow. She raise two at a time and gave me time off. The mouth on the calf wouldn't freeze.

I use orange oil and lava soap homemade blend to remove anything nasty. That was a broody bird brain chicken that needs a sheltered spot to brood.
Wow, what a crap morning you had, but you hung in there! I hope the rest of your day went great!
Try hunter’s scent away soap or Frebreze.

Cows are one of the most beautiful creatures on earth!
even there poop is valuable
As is Kim
@guermeisterdoodlebug7980 she absolutely is!!!
I agree with doodlebug on that topic 😮
You mean ruminant?
I heard you can tell good from bad eggs by "candling" them.
love your hair
LOVER YOUR EYES AND YOUR HAIR
Back by popular demand .... the Exploding Eggs !! That would be the coolest band name, damn if i could only play the guitar. Lol
🐔😂 That was hysterical. Thanks for that, I know you suffer for your art and audience.

Damn you are living right. Good for you.
I grew up in New Zealand 🇳🇿 I’d take the cold 🥶 over the heat any day of the week 😂😂😂
I absolutely love your channel!
I was born in Dayton,Ohio in 1964 and always wanted a girl like you.
God bless, and Merry Christmas!!!!
✌💀👍✊✊✊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
"Smell my hand" 😂😂😂😂
Why would you keep rotten eggs?
Fyi unfertilized eggs can explode with enough force to injure (and potentially kill) the chicken after a little while of sitting rotten
Being in the cold is not fun! Thanks for rescuing your chicken and her eggs. 🐓
Lol "she's not an inside chicken" 😂
Who's the lucky guy?
Momma Chicken 🍗 died by exploding rotten eggs she was sitting on 😂😂😂
Did that cow at 1:37 have mascara on her eyes? My daughter thinks it might have been her birthday 😅
Use lemon juice on your hands & it will get rid of the smell
Why does she need to have rotten eggs? I have chickens and need to know. Thanks
Dude, your hair is killin me...your killin me smalls
I always have to shower afterwards.
I wish I didn't have memory problems and forget to check on them more often :-0)
I feel it. We live up in the land of cheese. Watering my donkeys, sheep and birds Is a challenge.
She is beauty, she is grace, she handles it well with egg on her face.. ;P lol
Yes you do love it and wouldn't have it any other way
I was making a pecan pie once with eggs I bought from a friend. One was rotten. Yeah.
are you in Michigan too?
i heard the egg pop. you are a trooper
Beautiful and hair makes her more irresistible
Summer or winter....always beautiful.❤
"shes not an inside chicken" 😏 haha hes seen this before i feel
Y'all need to head down to the deep South. 74 outside today and sunny. Y'all had me about crying laughing. Thank y'all for sharing.
