I went to see George last night in Houston and he completely set the stage on fire. He actually borrowed my friends Marshall cabs for the show. So he had 6 4x12s.
Last time I saw Dokken was 2012 at the South West Texas Rock Fest. It was heartbreaking. Especially compared to MOR in 1988. George wasn't there, and Don couldn't sing. It was like a sad karaoke cover version of itself. I really wanted to see this tour but the only opportunity I had was 4 hours away in San Antonio on the night before I was supposed to fly out International for work. I should have gone for it, but ....
Terry Ilous sounds great on this song. I didn't care for the last singer George was working with. He didn't have the voice for the Dokken songs. Not sure if they're still working together. George goes through singers so fast. 🤪
@@JDCUSA I dont watch videos of him to see what he is wearing, I could care less about his apparel. Just glad to see him up on stage playing the hits i grew up with. I am not the fashion police, i am just a big fan.

I wish these old rockers would dress more like they did back in the 80s. That was part of the show. It was part of the act. The visual aspect of the show added another element to the show. Going out there looking like Nirvana just doesn’t appeal to me when they are playing heavy metal, hair metal, glam metal music. You can do better George. He was one of the coolest looking rockers of them all back in the 80s.
He is out on the road and probably didnt have any cool clothes that were clean and had to wear some guys pants that is shorter than he is, I am sure he could care less about what people think he should be wearing. There are tribute bands out there that play dress up and satisfy the visual aspect you so desire.

He did them so his son and him could enter body building competitions. He had to stop because of what the steroids did to his joints. He follows a natural regime and does low impact work outs. Kudos to him for dropping the needle and staying healthy.

I've seen Dokken 4 times back in their prime. This performance was as good as any I have seen. George is the baddest ass older guitarist! Nailed it!
