@@DaveVargas90012 Depends, it's based on a zone system. For adults it's over $3 (depends if you pay in cash or use a Clipper card) to travel within one zone, but to go from SF to San Jose it costs over $12 one way. They recently changed it for kids, $1 no zone restriction
Another tiny part of America has joined the 21st century! I think it's cause for celebration personally. People are finally starting to realize that traffic sucks in cities and it won't get better by paving over more of them.

The electric trains are so much quieter, they have WiFi, and the expanded schedule is great too.
