Thanks for taking the time to walk around the whole ship and narrate. I would have enjoyed it more without the background music. It would have been nice to hear some of the actual real sounds.

Good suggestion. Thank you. I'll give that a try on the next tour and see how it goes.

I was surprised to see so many towels on the loungers with hardly any people around. I hope Royal keeps to their statement of removing items for chairs being "Held". There was no way there were that many people in the pools and Solarium for all those towels to be out.
Also, the part near the Cabanas where they have loungers on one side and chairs on the other looks very tight to walk through. If people are sitting in the chairs with their legs out I don't see how you can walk through without tripping. Also, I'd hate to be on a lounger with someone 5 feet in front of me in a chair staring directly at me.

It seemed like there were a lot more “held” loungers than normal. I hate it when people do that and never come back. Also, I love the Oasis class ships, but that has always been an issue with them, very little space to sit and see the ocean.

What time of the year did you film this video? Hardly anyone on board...

Could have been a port day

Sorry for the delayed reply. January. It wasn’t a port day. What I do is look for a day that has a big event at night. Normally that is the first day, and then I get up at a normal time the next t day to do my videos. There isn’t anyone walking around because everyone else sleeps in after staying up for the party. :-)

Is it only 1 time formal dinner? Or how many? Just asking. Thanks.

I believe there were 2 formal nights. Typically on an 8-day cruise, there are 2. Because I normally eat at the specialty dining restaurants and the chef's table, I tend to dress up for those anyway. Therefore, I don't normally pay attention to when it is formal night. That being said if anyone doesn't want to dress up, they can go to the Windjammer on formal nights or simply ignore the dress code (many people do). Royal Caribbean never enforces the dress code. I'm sure if someone shows up in a bathing suit they would probably say something but I have been at the Chef's Table two times where people have showed up in shorts and t-shirts.

I had the same thought, then realized he was probably walking around very early while most were either still sleeping or getting breakfast. If you noticed later during shows, the theaters seemed relatively full.

@@Knowledge_is_freedomThere is a secret to this. I wait until the day after a huge late night party on the ship. Everyone is still sleeping. :-). Normally in a 7 days cruise, that is the balloon drop the first night of the cruise. Most people sleep in after that. :-)
