That was a nice catch with the 2 units going under the bridge. This area has seen a lot of restructuring what's older buildings torn down because they got flooded and roadways consolidated and they had some extensive flooding in the last 2 years. Sadly some of the bigger structures are gone that were for building agricultural equipment and for years the little terminal Railroad the Davenport Rock Island in Northwestern which was 1/2 Milwaukee Road and 1/2 Burlington Northern and used Alcos into the mid-1970s
Another great amazing video of a huge combo locomotive 🚂. Great railroading action. Transporting the nation's goods. Love ❤ those canadian pacific locomotives. Thanks.
Great Video of those big red engines and railcars. Reminds me as a child one Christmas getting a toy red engine, it was so cool. Thanks Jason for posting.
Thats my favorite bridge over the Mississippi River along with the bridge in Fort Madison. Did you catch any Iowa Interstate Railroad trains going over the bridge in Davenport????
Old Milwaukee road, but the rock island did used to run (Iowa interstate runs it now) through here not far from this line east/west, whereas CP runs north/south through the area
@MilwaukeeRoadFan1993 oh that's right. I forget that so many railroads at one time crisscrossed Iowa. RI, MILW, C&NW, CGW, M&StL, and many more. Thanks for the explanation.
Nice video Jason. Glad you took the trip to Iowa and teamed up with Jaw Tooth. Getting up on the bridge to film this local really made this video sweet. Thanks man, cool catch.

You strayed far from ELS mainline. Good video.
Sitting at a red light chasing the train yesterday I looked over and went man that guy looks like Jason! I guess now I know lol
Government Bridge. Nice spot for a train video!

Hi Jason, my son used to live in Davenport I’ve been there a few times
Fab video! 😊
Davenport is preparing for flooding. I see HESCO barriers and pumps set up on the river front. Good video of the freight!
Are you standing on the double decked "Government" bridge ?
Wow what an echo those train horns produce!
Great video.
Go canada go
2:37 that was weird ......you zoomed back and the horn even got quieter ? .......or you could say you zoomed up and the horn stayed loud.....weird
Is the way the software is set to record base on zoom length, to focus the mic on the subject & cut background noise
Is this former Rock Island territory?
