Would love for Hive to be mention in these talks sometimes. Might be biased, but think they have it all in their ecosystem and has shown resilience when they forked when Mr.Sun tried to take over in the Steem days.
Defi games you should keep an eye on imo - Knights of the Ether and Mirandus. They've both been developing for years and i've played beta tests for both. Pretty fun already and still developing!

This gamefi concept doesn’t sound new. Years ago people would sell items for in game gold in RuneScape, then sell the gold for real world fiat currency. I think the same happened in World of Warcraft too. Perhaps this has more longevity and could be more widespread moving forward though. Interesting stuff.
Yeah, game assets to real world assets isn't new, but this is the first time it's actually be supported AND made available to the world via blockchain. Runescape and WoW selling wasn't actively supported by the game devs and was all secondary market stuff. Certainly paved the way to where we are today though. It will be very interesting to see how all this develops.
Eth gas fees makes me stay away from it.
Hopefully that gets better in the future

Of course, everyone has areas that will lag behind the moment, I know I have a ton. My light teasing was offered in the spirit of friendly camraderie. .
