If you’ve seen her past singing video when she was on a show on Chinese tv when she was younger... her vocals are seriously noooo joke. Made multiple ppl in the audience cry, her voice sounded like a real life Disney princess. Her high notes are heartstring pulling srsly
I know very little about singing but this is what I've noted She has great agility She can stay relaxed with many notes Doesn't strain Has a holding back tendency
I think the holding back is because she’s not singing seriously and is trying to conserve her voice for performances. I know many singers who do this, barely using their voices at all until performances and use their bare minimum at rehearsals (it’s a stage drama). They sound great when they go all out though 👍🏻
I realized why I like Ning's voice so much, it is so soft, gentle and even, it caresses the ear and gives pleasure and comfort. Like Being Hit By A Bullet - Baek Ji Young - I want to hear this song live in its entirety, I'm so stuck with her performance in my heart, but she probably will never perform it, unfortunately.(((( And the voice of Winter cuts my ear, for me it is a little sonorous.

She is one of the few great vocalist of the fourth gen, i love how in aespa you get both the great performance and vocals, they remind me of Ateez because they deliver great vocals (jongho and ningning high notes give me chills), yeah wish they would collab together even though it's been impossible in kpop nowadays.
