A sober sane video , brilliant . Like you said that brickwork is awesome . Some serious skill went into making that . Beautiful flowing curves and lines .
The high arches are probably there so you get the fresh air into the tunnel better. Those shafts look like fresh air shafts. What really amazes me is that they did not put in a door at the end of the tunnel to keep the unwanted visitors out. If they would have done that you would only see the electrical conduits going through the wooden frame of the door and that is that. If you would have done it like a pro, you would not even have seen that the conduit would go further than that door that was not there.... You could have even bricked up one side of the tunnel and close it off and grow your weed behind that. That bricked off part really looks like it was well engineered. Maybe they have even poured a concrete reinforced wall behind that. No way you can get through that! Some COCO hydroponics. I think they would have used a lot of electricity for the heating. If you know how to make the ventilations so that it wont leave a heat signature, and they wont find out that the electricity is being stolen at a certain spot. You can get away with it, as long as nobody gets into the tunnel. Also with the modern day LED lightings, you need less power for the lighting for the same amount of weed. (for example: samsung h series led strip, it (the light per watt) gets better each year it seems). Also you can get away with a lot lower ceilings that with HPS lights. So you can either stack your weed in two layers, or use a hidden played with a reduced height. Any way, cool video! Greetings, Jeff
Nice quality woodworking! And the power cabling nicely cleated to the wall - pro job! Oh - you forgot the link to the older video about the same fortifications.
Wow! Interesting. Great explore. It looked like it'd been a while since the grow was operating. Good thing. I certainly wouldn't want to run into someone who got angry at me being there. Might be a bit difficult to make a safe getaway. It's absolutely amazing with all the tunnels, shelters and such that one find in an urban setting. Too bad about all the trash and discards. People are like that. In my mind I can only imagine the digging and construction that went on. When you see the brickwork one has to think about the great quality of the work to have survived all these years. I can imagine the people who used these shelters in the day when they were new; the styles of dress, their reason for being there, and the missions carried out when this was in operation. Take care. Cheers.
Another beautiful explore Simon right on your doorstep also with a personal history, which sounds like the birth of SubEx a few years ago. As per normal your knowledge is excellent, it’s a shame these places are sealed up forever but are our countries history and should be kept alive to teach why our country is the first military might off the world.
Okay this is just a guess but in old buildings plus modern there has always been a void for smoke . Okay stairwells normally have a higher ceilings at the top floor . Why as smoke being hot smoke rises so having a area up high for smoke to fill . This still to this day is designed in modern buildings . In those days candles and lanterns etc plus stores explosives and ammunition all ever flammable and give of smoke. So obviously normal use ....well things turned bad . How ever this is underground so up ....voids prevent smoke logged lower levels and vents , vent out the smoke . Hopefully keeping areas smoke free and even venting that smoke to keep a breath able environment. Hope this makes sense.
very nice explore Simon, so how common is weed in England? here in the states where they have legalized it, you can't go 2 miles without seeing a pot shop ! never in my childhood did I think being a pot farmer would not only be lucrative , but legal too..... good job on the abseil today by the way. you and Keira did it like pros , she is a keeper mate !
Sorry but it's the way you said not what you said I moved to Spain to grow weed ,I don't think of it as drugs I've often watched your channel and thought it's surprising you have come across a under ground set up coz if I lived in the UK I'd be scouting for tunnels ...tbh it's not exactly the right environment but would be possible if the electricity is free Happy hunting You have great content PS I've heard that underneath suger loaf hill in Folkestone Kent there's a military hospital ...is that true ? I know the channel tunnel runs underneath it now days ❤️✌️
I just love all these underground vids, got a lot to catch up on, my bad 😂❤

Why do they have to build on and back fill our history
Because such decisions tend to be made by committees of boring, clueless people with no imagination.
Grow drugs 🤣😂😅🤣🤣😅🤣
