Found a video I started in the spring and never finished!!! 1963 International 560 on a 14’ Degelman Rock Rake and the Case 2090 on the Degelman Super Picker 2
Seagulls are like any bird: If they see an opportunity to pick an area over for recently exposed bugs, they will do so. They're not too picky, they'll eat anything they can, including any upturned plant matter they can digest. They must want the variety in their diet, if you watch closely without disturbing them you might even see what they pick up.
Bring that dam Rock Rake down to my farm, that's a sweet unit. Lots of bloody Manitoba rocks to get the hell out of my fields. Payment will be unlimited Manitoba BEERS 🍻from your truly. Later Robbie👍.
great video Robbie of the old stuff still working. When I was a young lad back in the 50's we were the stone pickers using a tractor pulling a sheet of steel to carry the rocks and then hand bombing them off and back for another load.
We used a Degelman rock rake when I was a teenager. Works good until you take out the back window of the 4430. Dad wasn't to pleased with my sister that day. We did acres with it.
Yeah I bet! A stone come flying up and hit the platform next to my foot and really scared me. Stopped and looked to see what blew up and found the rock. Was relieved it was only a rock
Cool beans.....I’ve always wanted to se3 one of those rock rakes work. I think I will show this to my boss and see if we can build something like it. I’m not getting any younger and pickin rocks sometimes is very time consuming. Thank you for sharing and best wishes to you and all my farmin brothers in the great white north ✌🏼brother.
Thanks for watching bud! There’s really nothing to it... a tube with flat bar welded to it to make the kickers- then hard surface weld on the tips. Pto gearbox and a hydraulic cylinder. Guy could make it hydraulic drive pretty easy I bet
@@RockinRobbiesRoadhouse Seems like it turns awful fast... I'd think you'd just want it turning fast enough to kick the rocks forward just a bit, not toss them like a football... Later! OL J R : )
Wow looks like you could make some money in the off-season with that thing... or rent it to neighbors to windrow rocks in the field rather than having to run all over the place willy-nilly trying to find and pick all the rocks... Later! OL J R :)
We rented a haybuster rock picker one summer. Somewhat the same concept but it raked and picked at the same time. No matter how cool it looked, the job itself sucked ass after the first couple hours!!
@@mcleanfarmsryan3897 lol.. I got to sleep about the time you got up.. a couple hours later I was up.. then finally back to bed.. definitely short on sleep, might have to take a nap today 🤣🤣😂
Great to see that rake windrow the stones..... Imagine picking them up by hand 😭
Rock rake worked awesome
Great video Rockin Robbie
Man you aged since the last time I saw ya
You got to love old iron 🍻👍
Every spring of my teenage years on a Case 700 with an identical Degelman rake and picker - N of Estevan.
That’s awesome!!!
Nice saves a lot of time

DAMN Robbie, You had me scared at the start of the Vid ya. I thought you aged unbelievably fast. Nice.
Yeah that apple pie moonshine is hard on a guy... LOL:) OL J R :)

My dad was friend with the Degelmans and we sold them hay for the dairy at Vibank back in the 70s. We farm north of the Weyburn Airport
I didn't know what a fawn sounded like before this video.
I'm glad the old rock rake worked good! Thanks for sharing buddy!👍🍻🍻
Great video, looks like fun . Better than doing it by hand ,
Great vidja Robbie. Thanks.
Hi rockin it's nice to see a bit of kit that has been standing for all those years and still working well nice Graham uk 👍😀
Wow changing tires sure makes a guy old. Haha
It sure does! Hahaha
Nice rake there rob

Nice rake!!
Poor deer, you let the air out of it😂🤣 make a springy seat with the field find👍👌
Cool I always liked raking and picking haven't done that in 20 yrs or more.
I have a Rock O Matic picker and it has a rake on each side of it
Those were awesome machines!!
Well your video had a kinda rocky start....... I liked it.
Your old International 560 is as old as me

I need that setup! Thanks for sharing Rob.
Works great, thanks
👍
That rake is just handier than pockets on pants
used one just like that rock rake.. works great for smaller stones..
What is it with the Canadian excitement over rocks? Mike M was out in the snow not long ago picking rocks, he was also very excited xD
I sure could have used that stone rake and picker on my old farm when I was farming lol
Whats the BPA on dem rocks Rob!?? Lol 😆
Hello
I have the exact same rake on my farm
Lol Robbie 🤣👍 🍻

First👍👌😎😁
Yup.. always the halfwit🙄
Is that a Dual 300 loader? Looks like a mid mount? I've never seen a rock rake either.
Doc
Yes I believe it is!!!
@@RockinRobbiesRoadhouse I have a 300 on my M farmall. Maybe your tractor is much longer and makes it look mid-mount.
Never seen one of those. Not all that different from a hay rake just a little more stout. Did the little fawn shit itself? Lol.
The only thing that Degelman’s done with that rock rake is make it wider!
Got it right on the half wit :D :D :D LOL Just kidding
Hahahaha it’s true tho 😂
Depends on which half of the half wit your talking about ;) ;) :D :D :D :D :D :D
I could use that rake
how much do you farm . and do you you for the county.
225 acres at the moment. And no I work for a company that does oilfield mowing and snow removal and do random odd jobs lol
Not mean better to do when you're picking up stone then to get Stone
Its a degelman, no repair needed lol
Second or third how are ya now
Good afternoon Ryan
Little early for after here but good mornin to you Ed
@@mcleanfarmsryan3897 lol.. I figured you had been up long enough 🤣😂
